Newer ones might, but older ones have that exact 1200 mAh battery.
Thought you cancelled your order? So your still here bad mouthing I why?One of the final things to push me over the edge into canceling mine was the thought that if they're this far behind now I bet they fly through the QC process just to get these out the door as fast as possible. Knowing their customer service history, the last thing I want to deal with is getting a defective device. Then have them say it was fine when it left them, I must have done something to it.

That's a valid point for a customer, but he doesn't own one.You bought one and had a good experience. Some of us have had bad experiences with the device and the customer service of the company. Why do you keep commenting and its not an issue, but when those that have problems post, it is suddenly an issue?
I am hoping they turn around their issues, but consumers use forums such as this to get the whole picture of the device and company prior to purchasing. I wish I had spent a little more time here prior to purchasing myself, because I would have bought a flask. Personally, I hope they fix the issues with the company, because they have potential in my eyes, but must first pan out the quality control and customer service issues.
who here has pre-ordered the rDNA 40? i'm trying to figure out when they might be shipping them... it used to say Nov 7th I think but, has since been removed? I don't mind waiting, just trying to get a rough idea![]()
I ordered yesterday so, im definitely not in the first batch... long as it's here sometime before xmas i'm good.I preordered on the first day (the 14th) and, because of cost and the fact I used a virtual cc # (guessing that would cause issues with canceling since I don't remember the #), I'm sticking with it. According to a response VS made on FB, the first batch should go out "in the next week or 2"... Also, according to that same FB post, "the first batch" cutoff was sometime on the 15th. If you ordered after the 15th, the wait will presumably be longer.

Well some vapor flasks are having issues so maybe it's better to wait a bit. I think both devices are great and when there is a rollout of new technologies stuff like this happens. I'm sure it will get worked from both companies but Vapor Sharks communication could be better
you guys are freakin me out! I thought VS was a well respected company.... till now, I've never heard any bad things. maybe I shoulda done more research!

Not sure where the Flasks having issues comes from..if it is from this thread then you show know that when my Flask order was delayed, I emailed Vapor Flask to confirm or deny what my re-seller was telling me.
This is their response:
"Not a recall. We are just having to do more thorough testing on units before they go out, so we've delayed shipments to resellers until early next week.

Hi =)
I was just told that my order was not going to be fulfilled as expected because you had an Evolv DNA 40 board recall. Can you confirm this?
Thanks,

So an extra level of quality checking was in order, which is absolutely the level of due diligence I expect when ordering a mod in the 200-300 dollar price point. There is no Evolv board recall. This is Vapor Flask ensuring that when it gets in our hands it will work as expected. Go Vapor Flask!!! I can wait for quality.
ETA: I see that there is some more in the Flask thread, seems VF is now testing them more closely so hopefully the new ones won't have an issue....funny I have had my XPV for two weeks now and it has not failed once....even with all of my crazy builds...LOL
I, thus far, have had nothing but good experiences with Vaporshark's customer service. My rDNA 30 broke within a week of me owning it, so I emailed VS to tell them. Within 5 minutes, I got an email back from them with a prepaid shipping label and instructions to send it back. I just sent it back a few days ago, so hopefully they'll replace or at the very least repair it.you guys are freakin me out! No doubt you will be fine. Even if there is a problem when you receive the device, you are under warranty. Don't freak out!
Some of us have less patience than others, I am one of those.
A sound reply. The other post was bashing a product he didn't have.Because the topic of this thread is rDNA. The OP started it as a discussion of the rDNA 30...In fact, we all spun it in to a discussion of the rDNA40.
Order status is not a requirement of posting here.
It appears that you are calling out someone for posting in a thread. You have a smiley picture, so I am going to assume you did not mean to be rude. But you should know that it does come off that way. So far, I think we have all done a great job of being nice to each other. I hope it stays that way.
I pre-ordered and cancelled as well. I really wanted one until I started hearing bad things about the quality and got frustrated with the process. So why am I posting in here either? Because, I can.
I am interested in how this plays out and whether I want to order from VS in the future.
