Well I went ahead and got one too, ordered some wire and same batts of ebay at a good pric. Hope to see it before the new year

You sure you want to sell it?? Even if it comes back working great? I would have a hard time getting rid of a Flask I think
At this point, pretty sure. Having gotten the rDNA in hand, I really really like it too much. And I'll baby the flask so much I'll just end up leaving it at home only, which is kinda silly.
My only concern with the rDNA now is the 510 threading. Been looking closely at it now and it doesn't look like SS to me. Looks more like chrome plated brass. Anyone has any idea?

That's too bad. I want a flask bad but figured I'd wait until this stuff gets sorted out a bit. Not sure about the 510 threading but it does look chrome plated to me.

To be fair, I did pick up a flask knowing that I can sell it off at retail if I end up liking the rDNA more. ESP now when I'll be getting a brand new unit.

Yeah I understand that. I actually only want the black tie edition flask which I'm guessing will be nearly impossible to get!
I used to run vinyl, like from vinyl car wraps, on the tops of my tube mods, now everything is hybrid, and I a lso wrapped brass tubed to keep patina n scratched away. Works great. You n ask for samples of clear vinyl from shops on amazon and they will give you more than enough for that for cheap or free.

I looked at the Hana and from past observations, I'd rather have a smaller device and one that isn't hot glued together. And as bad as everyone seems to think VS's customer service is, Hana's is possibly worse. I don't have experience with either but this is what I got from reading posts and reviews of both. Every place I've seen selling the Hana DNA40 offers free shipping. The extra few bucks I saved went to a Hana clone.
The one I received is very high quality and no hot glue on it what so ever. Only Hana type mods I've seen with hot glue is the Cana mods. I was just frustrated with VS making it seem that the rDNAs would all ship out on a certain date and then later was told it could be up to at least a month later. The Hana is working superbly and the workmanship and quality is top notch! It looks amazing and vapes even better.

I have been vaping mech mods (mostly REO's and super-t's / paps) for the past 2 years and never seen or used a vv/vw mod.
I am thinking about experimenting with a VS DNA40 but the only concern is that I have heard a few whispers of juice possibly leaking into the unit through the door joints.
Can anyone let me know if this can happen and do I need to be concerned about it.

Also, everything I have ordered from the states (REO & Super-t) to the UK I have always had to my door in 5 to 7 days from order.
Should I prepare myself for a longer (or even much longer) wait from VS if I press the button ? Even though it is showing in stock.

Yeah, looks like this could happen easily if one is not careful. Some people have fixed it by insulating the compartment which holds the DNA board with silicone. My fix is to use an atty that doesn't leak.
