Hello friends again!

I have good news and bad news. The good news is I've already bought my VS !!! :) As I decided what color, I did not think about anything else. Definitely I bought the gunmetal but I forgot to add to the shopping bag black vaporskin and my shipment was sent within 1 hour of I bought, very fast. It has cost me dearly in stores because shipping to my country (Spain) is very expensive they charge me(in stores), it is actually cheaper but they abuse the shipping price.
If someone has a case of resale or her about and I bought it, shipping would come cheaper. If anyone can get me one and send it I would be grateful! Shipping will not pay me a sheath for a store :(
The good news is that it is sent vaporshark.

Thank you all!

Could anyone recommend batteries for the rDNA?

Hi bamani. IMO, any battery discussion for the rDNA should include the Efest purple 20 amp 18650- 3100 mah. Within spec a .5 ohm build at 30 watts will only require 7.75 amp current draw (well within this battery's 20 amp limit) and a bit more lasting power.

Can be found Here

Someone should unwrap one to find out what it really is. Efest has been known to be a bit optimistic with their specs. For example, is that 20A rating a continuous rating or is it a pulse rating?

You can't calculate a DNA mod's current requirements like that. First off, a DNA makes the resistance of your load irrelevant. All that matters is how many watts you're putting into the load. That many watts have to come from the battery, plus some more to account for inherent inefficiencies in the DNA itself. Then you have to consider that the DNA can still produce 30 watts (actually a bit more) into your load when the battery is at the end of its charge. Bottom line: A DNA-30 can pull as much as 12A from a battery under worst-case conditions.

Does anyone else have a reputable vendor to buy from aside from RTD Vapor? They are out of stock. :(

What about AW brand? Or Panasonic?

I just got 2 VTC5s from EVCigarettes that appear to be genuine.
Been buying from them for a few months and they have yet to steer me wrong.

Question on Vaporshark rdna. Is it meant to be charged with battery in the mod most of the time or switch batteries? I currently have a Provari and have 4 batteries that I switch back and forth while I charge the others. I know there is a screw where you can take out the battery but wasn't sure if I keep changing the battery on a daily bases if the screw threads will hold up. Just wondering what the majority that own this mod do.

Thanks

To me, I charge mine thru the USB port if I can reach to the power source. When I work in the field and no access to any power source, I bring couple more batteries for rotation.

Ive used both methods.. charged and swapped batteries. no issues with thread life of the screw that holds the bay. well.. no more than any other threaded device.

So after reading about the shark week deal I ordered on the 11th.
Got shipping notice and tracking on the 12th
Tracking never updated so I called this morning.
A very pleasant woman on the phone told me my order would ship on the 22nd, of this month presumably.

I'm not sure why my order still shows "shipped". This is disappointing, for sure and I'm a little concerned
about the possibility of it not getting shipped next week because their inventory system shows it shipped.
The tracking number is still showing the same information.

Has this happened to anyone else? What was the eventual outcome?

I see on the website is says "Shipping Notice: All DNA and rDNA orders will ship on 8/21 or earlier"
They probably got inundated with the sale, but I'd keep a close eye on it and follow up with them next week.

Does anyone know if I can plug my USB into my apple plug that is in the wall, or could this damage the device?

That should be fine.
I used one a few week ago while traveling to charge my DNA devices.
