What is the best wall charger to use with the rDNA? I see people commenting about using their Apple charger and wasn't there just a story about not using chargers that weren't intended for use with your item?

The news article was regarding an e-go twist that malfunctioned in a room where medical oxygen was in use

Pretty much any quality USB wall charger with a good cable will work.

More info on that story here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/announcements-news/592374-ecigs-oxygen.html#post13873495

I have a few Apple chargers, but I still plan on picking up one of these.
VS-ONE
And one of these
USB Car Charger
I already spoke to Brian at Vaporshark to make sure they were compatible with the RDNA.

I just saw this on the Vapor Shark FB page in response to this type of question about using their iPad charger, "The rDNA will regulate the charge rate to .8A or 800mah. So feel free to use either. Personally I stay lower and use my iPhone charger, but thats just me. Low battery will mean that you are dropping below 3.7, so I would suggest charging it once you get to about 15% battery.

Bah! I've got the same one with a Samsung logo on it, but I want the shark one now !

I used this one on a recent driving trip and it worked well with iPhone and VS attached.

That one is nice with the ability to charge my iphone and a VS at the same time would be handy. I even like the ocean blue color, had good reviews, and it ships with amazon prime. That would be perfect on a road trip.

It was a life saver since I can crank through a non rDNA battery in no time and was driving from NC -> OH -> PA -> NY -> NC

It's got a solid fit so you need to make sure it's seated in the lighter socket.
The little blue LED lets you know it's on though I discovered :)

I like that it has the port for higher amperage devices too.

This will be fun to watch. I bet the provari becomes the back up. I know mine did after my first DNA 30.
I had a vv woodvil reo but recently sold it...I found myself going back to my provari mini....My reo was beautiful and the people on the reo forum are awesome...They were so supportive thru some tough times in my life...I will probably in time get another Reo..just not one that i have to fear of scratching...

There's definitely something to be said for regulated devices.

I've got some everyday devices too that I don't worry about - one being the VS which still looks new after 3 months :D

I know a bunch of you guys just bought the new rDNA I have just one more question and then I'm pulling the trigger and ordering one. I watched Phil's lengthy 40 minute video on the rDNA and he did mention something about button/battery rattle. Button rattle is a HUGE pet peeve of mine can you guys confirm or deny this? Also is the standard 30 watt DNA just as SOLID as the rDNA because I've only held a DNA never felt the rDNA. Thanks

Yes, the +/- buttons rattle a little bit on the rDNA.
Barely noticeable unless you shake it like can of spray paint.
Edit: I bet you couldn't hear it with a shark skin on...

Yes.
The rDNA is a little heavier due to size and battery is all.

Just retrieved mine from the mailbox. Charging now :D Mine apparently had a rough trip from Florida. The internal plastic tray inside the box was in multiple pieces. No other apparent damage to the outer plastic box or the device itself. Like the overall look and feel of it. Well will see when I get a full charge.

Ordered TODAY!!!!

My first mod is a stainless chdna30 tube that weighs a ton and with my Nautilus on it is nearly a foot long. I had been hoping for an sx350 mod that was reasonably priced and way smaller than this SS beast. Other box mods just seem to be to big and bulky for my taste, and the VS dna30 was small but a built in battery and no step down (buck I think it's called) kept me away. I have only been vaping for 3 months now, so no huge collection of shinies yet. I have been vaping at around 8 to 9 watts and with a fresh 18650 I sometimes got the ohm flashing thing going on. About a week ago I kicked up the watts to 10 and even 11 (oh my) and to my surprise the juice actually did taste like something. Who would have thunk it? LOL Now that the blinking ohm thing is no more, it was time to find a small dna30 mod. I looked at a few mini box mods and then remembered the rDNA was due out. And wouldn't you know while reading this thread and watching that silly PBusardo vid, It's SHARKWEEK, so I pulled the trigger on a gunmetal grey rDNA with a couple of sharky skins to boot.

We had only been smoking for 55 years (each) but switching to vaping for the wife and I only took a week or so, and now were done with those analogs for good. I buy our e-juice with NO flavors added but diluted to 12mg nic in 500ml bottles, then we each fill 30ml bottles from it and then add the flavor we like. Much cheaper that way. We love our Nautilus tanks, now that we discovered the new BVC coils. Wow what a difference those new coils make. Now if we like the new rDNA we'll be ordering another (maybe the small one) for the wifey.

I've noticed the rattle - even with the skin on there is a slight rattle - not quite sure what's rattling - pretty sure when I get a chance to open it up it's something fixable - other than that I'm just loving the rDna.

As far as it being as solid as the regular dna - I can't really say - I've only used the rDna

Hope this helps.

Best regards & vape safe my friends

Congrats sir! I hope we all really like them. :vapor: I've only been vaping 4 months and the shiney collection has rapidly grown. Yours is definitely going in the right direction :D I also liked the nautilus tanks especially after the BVC coils and you figure out all the little quirks. They should come with an instructional video!! If you think your juice tastes good at 12-14 watts wait till you vape the same juice at 25 watts :banana::banana::banana:

fantastic story! Welcome! I think you will both be well pleased. I prefer the small feel and look, as opposed to long tube mods.

as far as rattles, i had never noticed any. so i picked it up and shook it. I guess if Im looking for something like that .. its there. but I had never noticed it before, not to say, that I dont have my own pet peeves,, like.. "hunny.. please pout the cap back on the toothpaste!!" But unless I shake it looking for it... I didnt hear it.
