Speaking of Silver! My 4th unit with the newest glitch free chip came today. I am beyond ticked off. The finsih is already showing silver out of the box, This is unacceptable. I am done with Vaporshark. All the bad units, poor finish, time it takes to get a new mod and being without a mod is getting old quick. At this point I think it is safe to say I don't think I wanna vape anymore. Never had a problem with Cigarettes working or glitching.

To put things into perspective, there's always issues associated with choosing to adopt a new and cutting edge technology. Surely it's not ideal, but it's a risk you inherently take up when you make that choice. Doesn't help that the dna chips have been particularly worrisome.

There are many other mods out there that will serve your needs more than adequately without causing you much grief at all.

And besides, cigarettes might have 0% glitch rates, but they have 100% cancer rates. So. It's a no brainer.

Chill.

Well said, I think some are feeling frustrated. I'm very happy and satisfied with VS. They handled my glitchy unit in a timely manor and complaints of a fire button that looses it's finish??!! The oils from your fingers will remove the finish. Add the fact that you probably have a 'lil juice on them at times will only make it happen faster.

That is really petty, these things are very nice units and if you have a good build on them are second to none!

Oh I absolutely understand the frustration. And to be perfectly honest, this whole situation with the glitchy chipsets is pretty much as close to a sheet show as it gets. The finish ain't great either, at least not on those buttons. Most China mods have no issues for that.

It just isn't productive to overreact and make the worst mistake of going back to cigarettes. I would rather go through 20 glitchy chips or go back to a Provari any day then a cigarette. Shudder

I get what you are saying it's just at this point I am just so fed up. I have yet to see where vaping is cheaper then a pack of smokes. At least with smokes I only need a bic lighter. I have spent more money on vaping then I ever have on cigarettes. I am just sick of wasting my hard earned money for products that don't last long.

My OCD just wouldn't allow that. I would be so upset

I get it, I'm more of a big picture guy. Believe it or not, it won't take long for a perfect unit to have those types of battle scars! Both of mine have atty rash like crazy and the finish on the fire buttons are all but gone. My toppers cover the rash and my finger covers the buttons and from 5 feet away, you can't see either one so I'm good with it!

I'll take that one kiwi if it functions!!

I know what you mean. I am just extremely .... and when I have a mod get scratched or an atty I sell it. MY OCD is that bad. I had a iStick 50 and the logo was off center and I sold it. It irritated me that bad

You need to get one that's absolutly immaculate, hermetically seal that bad boy! Then get another one and use the bejesus out of it and when you want to see perfection, break out the pretty one!

These things are meant to be used out and about. Don't get me wrong, I have skins on both of mine and run a battery thru each in a given day. Like kiwi said, better than dropping back and punting with stinkys!!

I may use this one as a beater mod and get another one. One thing that bothers my OCD is the Lg battery in the rDna40. The + and - sign does not need to be on the battery lmao I took mine out and replaced it with a LG HE2 that has no + or - signs on it. That like to have drove me nuts. I do realize that I am mental and have OCD and need help. Perhaps some recreational drugs or meds will calm me down

There's a saying about how you always immediately recognize the pioneers: They're the ones with the arrows in their backs. And anyone using TC mods right as the technology is being introduced is being a pioneer. Expect all kinds of odd-ball stuff.

So you're sorta' going from one extreme to the next -- being a pioneer of vaping technology at one extreme, or going back to coffin nails at the other. Why not just try non-temperature controlled devices, which at this point is the mod of choice for everyone but the pioneers? They've been around long enough that there are a ton of good and glitch-free devices, and they're way cheaper than mods with Evolv's TC 40 boards. No reason to... ah, forgive me for another cliche -- throw out the baby with the bath water.

Grin. Im currently out with my REO so I don't have a topper to check. I'll see how it goes; if it's not glitchy I might keep it.

But I think vaporshark currently has a good number of rDNA in stock, so exchanging it might be a good idea. I'll see how I feel about it after gym.

That said, Yall know im a rDNA fan boy. But let's be real sending out brand new products like that is plain unacceptable.

Heheh btw this baby here? Never glitches :p

"Sheet show..." Hmmm... somehow I've missed that one and Google's no help. I can guess what it means but in what industry was it coined. (Which is to say, what's its etymology?)

I emailed Vaporshark a few hours ago and let them know it's unacceptable and the right thing to do this time would be to send me a perfect unit and when it comes I will send their crappy unit back. We will see what the response is from them. I am sick and tired of being without a mod and not letting this one go back until the new one comes. I also used a bit of censored language with them as well

TheKiwi, Are those from the hydro coating? I will be sending mine in this week to swap out the chip and hydro coating but may ask for a refund if that's what they do to it..

I'm glad to hear the screen glitches are gone now. As for the button finish wearing off I'm going to try putting on clear nail polish on it to see if it lasts longer.

You should see my REO, 3+ years with my original black and it's scratched up to hell from many drunken nights and hard use. Still functioning perfectly.
