Got my rdna in the mail today. I almost went into meltdown mode when it wouldn't work at all unless I had the usb cord plugged in. Even then,it wouldn't fire. After an inspection of the battery compartment , I discovered that my negative battery terminal was fully compressed and not making contact. After a very careful pry job,its vaping like a dream with no other issues so far.

Yeah I have heard others having this problem as well.

ya, I bet during shipping it took some beating, and the momentum and force of the battery inside, squashed the contact. good job on being able to solve it yourself!!

Got my RDNA today. Its crazy how small yet powerful this little box mod is! I love it, and I think my setup looks ..... Here's a pic:
sexy as hell!
When I go and order my VS this is the exact setup I want!!! How does she toke with the russian?

the R91 works divinely on the rDNA!

If my decrepit memory serves, pbusardo had the same issue.
I know for a fact it also happened on a DIY mod that fell on the floor, so not out of the realm of possibility.

Yep, I gotta say the R91 matches nicely, same setup I've got ;)

3 days in and the shark have traveled from Miami, Louisville, Anchorage, and now just arrived in Incheon-Korea.
Man, I hope the the speedy traveling doesnt stop at Jakarta-Custom inspection lol....

Add to the list, Shenzen-China, Singapore, Jakarta!! Tracking said there's been a slight delay getting here but now says arrival scanned - import scanned - destination scanned!!

So cloooose!!!! Think i'll be spending the saturday at home lol.

My ohms reader stopped reading the ohms. I don't know when it stopped, but I just noticed it this morning. No drops or anything. I don't even set it down hard. Odd !! Tried a few dif attys just in case that was the problem. I'm going to contact Vapor Shark about it. Any body having an issue like this?

Could i do this myself?

Absolutely, that was IDonn0's point.
We're old fashioned, like to tinker, and try to fix things instead of sending them in :D

I'd try a couple of drip tip o-rings first though since they are less likely to short.

Here's what I'd recommend
  1. remove battery cover
  2. remove electronics cover
  3. the - (minus) button will practically fall out
  4. put a washer or o-ring around it
  5. re-assemble
  6. shake the living daylights out of it

If the rattle is reduced by 1/2, then repeat for the other button.

The + button will be a little more difficult to get to though.
A split ring washer (circlip) or cut o-ring should fit down in there without having to tear the thing to shreds.

If you have any questions let us know, and if need be I'll tear mine down completely and take pictures. :vapor:
