Has anyone found a solution to the kayfun style atomizer scraping the top of the device?

Not sure your question. Never had that issue with mine. I know Kayfuns themselves have an issue of scraping the top of mods, and getting stuck because of the AFC screw. I prefer running mine without the screw anyway. I get a much better draw. My AFC screw stays in my vape tool box in case I ever want to sell my kayfun. Hope my comments are helpful to you.:)

It is going to be awhile. They will probably get it by Friday. The lady that took my call was nice, and told me to call her when it should arrive to go to the front of the service list. Don't know how long the service will take, and then it could be about 5 days back. So probably a few weeks. I am using my cloupor right now. Gives me a different perspective on the clones vs authentics. Lol Grateful I have a backup. I have Dready doing a REO door for me. So I am sure I will get one of those to use the door within the next month or so. Backups are a good thing. Need stuff I can trust. I had a magneto mod too, but I loaned it out to someone who was desperate on ECF. Don't know if I will get it back, but at least I helped the person at the time. Don't want to ever get put in a position to go back to the stinkies.:)

Sorry to hear it's going to take a long time. I'm glad you have a backup, though! If you ever need anything I can send a loaner or something as long as I'm not offshore working.

I picked up a Stingray X and Plumeveil 1.5, have em in hybrid mode. Ill grab a pick, shortly and post. nice and petite, even in 650 mode! My cartel / tobh set is heavy and beastly. ( both brass ) this stringray X / Plumveil 1.5 both in SS, and in hybrid mode.. makes a nice small rig.

my brother Newportlocal.. you know I got your back too man

but the Ol VS rDNA remains in ADV rotation, mostly with the Nautilus on it, occasionally breaking out the R91. Definitely scratched on the top by the R91 fill screw.. which I dont even use, I just top fill the R91. Not that it matters, there is always a atty on it, hiding the scratches!

My bride had been using a Kaenger Evod on a ego twist batt.. but damn it man.. thats almost a joke. Got her onto a mini nautilus, much better, but that ego batt still just barely fires the mini nauty. So, despite wanting to get her on a Eleaf iStick or something similar... she doesn't like anything remotely box mod like.. so.. I bought her a Itaste V V 3.0 for the Nauty mini. She is well pleased. cranked it up to 11 watts.. much better!

RE: Kayfun AFC ... Thanks to all for suggesting the removal. That does work, however I do get a little bit of leakage with some extreme temperature changes when the Kayfun is left in the car, my pocket, etc. I kept the AFC screws in and secured them well with some teflon tape. It's much tighter now, doesn't back out, is flush with the bottom and airflow has been minimally impacted...

how come you dont use the erlkonigin? I've heard awesome things about it. While I do like the nautilii,i much prefer the kayfuns in almost all categories (except ease of switching coils and refilling of course)

Haha he has been caught. My Erlkonigin has been on my mods since I got it. Best vape money I have ever spent.

I am seriously thinking of picking one up. The only problem, is that I like to buy several, so it would cost me almost a grand lol and that makes me reconsider.

I think it was around $140 with the exchange rate from intaste.de in Germany. Super fast shipping. I will eventually get another one there.

it merely wasn't in the photo, as I was vaping it while taking the pic! lol

I also use a Black Russian 91% I bought with the VS rDNA

I'm jealous ;) Been looking for a PV 1.5 Where did you find one?
The VV 3 is a great device especially with the nautilus mini. Still have one around here somewhere. ;)

I think the engraved words was bottoming out. My Nautilus Minis never did any damage, but I ended up having to cut out a plastic baggie and attach it to the bottom of my Kayfun... I am going to search for a really thin clear washer.

Mid priced when compared to many devices out there at $300 or more. Provari is cheaper now to make way for the P3 but used to be close to $300 to get the complete unit with extended end cap, to make it 18650 replaceable like the rDNA. ZNA, Hana and many others are more money.

The Provari is the same price now as when I bought mine seven months ago...
