I liked the idea too. I had multiple dna mods, starting with an original Vaporshark dna 20 that I got right after Christmas and loved them. REOs never really appealed to me, but I was drawn to bottom-feeders by pdib's incredibly elegant and beautiful wood mechanical mods. So when gdeal designed that printed dna BF, I knew I had to build one (or more).

so.. you have a 3D printer and going at it yourself?
Im in the same boat osrta.. its taken me a few weeks to get my head around the REO... not sure why... but, I didnt like it all that much for some moments.. then other moments.. I am happy with it. some of it is the learning curve with squonking etc.. a few dry hits can turn me away from a device quickly.. the one I bought from the classifieds came with a Atomic on it.. and it had dual coils and was tooo hot for my liking.. and the slotted mod that seller did to make it BF.. was.. hmm.. slow squonking.. leading to dry hits.. then bought a RM2.. easier squonking.. but .. hmm.. I dont know..

wonder if anyone has ever modded a Magma for BF?

We've been ordering them from Shapeways.
It takes a long time, but mine is finally in production.
Because I ordered two pieces in polished bronze, the body itself is pushing $170.
Seriously considering getting a 3D printer myself...

I found getting past the dry hits was just a muscle memory thing, and I squonk every time - better safe than sorry.
The REO is a great mod but it didn't speak to me, at all.
The Woodvil kinda, but it's not to my personal taste.

The wooden ones are pdib's amazing creations, only the center one is DNA.

Do THAT and if you chase flavor with a single coil and a decent build, you will be in heaven. Then try a narrow bore drip tip like the KF and some Bio Wick which is organic cotton and rarely gets much love but for me its outstanding. I'm about 6 draws before I need to squonk and my draws are not lung hits but are not shallow either. My REO Mini is my out and about device. Don't muck/drill the air hole until you have done the above oring mod. Next time I break it down I will post a pic. If you don't need AFC and only due single coil builds and don't chase clouds, you will be hard pressed to beat the vape with a properly configured RM2.

WOW.. thanks man. ya got me stoked about my REO .. thanks for the info! I already had my airhole directly in front of the coil, so that part is good. not clear why super X suggests having the airhole pointing up.. in front? my is 90 degress.. to the left when I draw...

When you tilt the REO towards you to use you want the airhole to be pointing up. If it's pointing down juice will come out of the airhole.

When you tilt the REO towards you to use you want the airhole to be pointing up. If it's pointing down juice will come out of the airhole.

I saw that video and suspected same.

My older Cyclones have a bit of a well so it's not as much of an issue.
The newer ones you have to be more careful with even though rayon/cellulose is stingy about losing e-liquid.
I'm thinking it must be the same with some other atty's on a REO.

@Budman is of course spot on. I actually use the same technique with my Magma single coil flavor chaser builds. Dry fit on my mod. Remember which air hole the build goes over and BINGO! It seems to help minimize the juice leakage out of the air hole when I tilt and vape since the air hole is pointing up.

@Barbarian /lol don't be afraid to try different builds on your RM2 to experiment. Once you find a build and position of the coil relative to the air hole and your fav wick your good to go and can maybe /lol stop tweaking. I like my coil closer to the edge of the deck a little which of course places it closer to the air hole. When I stick a toothpick through the airhole I want to hit the coil center and get the coil as close to the airhole as I can while insuring that my love wick is properly saturated when I squonk. That's just me but it works and I'm not changing. /lol

It usually takes 2-3 days - I've got 2 regular ones, and the rDNA is on the way.
My last VS took a detour to Maryland over the 4th of July weekend though.
Hope that doesn't happen to either of us this time !

Usually a day, but they are probably shipping a TON of devices with the sale going on.

Realistically... I wouldn't expect to see it before Saturday at the earliest.
'Free' shipping via USPS is not the same as using a courier unfortunately.

Sorry to confuse you! Eliquid wasnt from them...Just saying the past few orders I've placed from east coast vendors got to me in 2 days. Shipped thursday and got to me Saturday even though it said expected delivery of monday. Wishful thinking Im hoping mine updates tonight, I also ordered on the 11th

North CackyLacky is seriously into vaping. Madvapes is HUGE. Unbelievably huge.
I think it's still the biggest retailer in the country largely via online sales.
