i rinse it before every fill with warm water...take it all apart and cup each piece in my hand under the faucet so i don't lose any o rings down the drain....Then about once a month i will let it soak overnite in vodka...I just got it not that long ago so haven't done the vodka thing yet...maybe not necessary...opinions are appreciated

1. Get an el cheapo "screen" to cover your drain. Trust me. You will thank me later

2. I clean ALL my delivry devices with Wallgreens house brand denture cleaner. Designed to clean rubber, metal, and plastic. Cheap and in a packet so it's easy to handle. Works like a charm like this:

Install screen over the drain
Break down
Hot water bath of all components
Plop plop into the plastic tupper ware with a tablet of denture cleaner
Fill this container with hot water
Let it sit for say 20 minutes until the water reaches room temp
Drain container almost empty
Final Wash with hot water
Let dry or compressed air to dry if you are in a hurry

---> ALL new delivry devices should be cleaned. Machine oil smell is not that unusual. Does a great job on wicks/heads for devices like a PT2, iClear, T2, etc and Eko Wool along with the normal rba or rda crowd. Dry burn the coil if appropriate.

Assembly OCD style: I lube all the orings and threads with 50/50 NIC base or you could use juice before you assemble.

I just received my rDNA. All I can say is WOW. I love it and regret not getting the Shark Skin now. Will be placing another order for that soon.

Just curious about 3 things.

1 - The Volts does not display continuously like the Watts do unless you press the fire button. Is this normal?

2 - When the battery gets low, does the fire button display a color to alert you? Or you just have to check the display at the bottom of the device?

3 - Can I charge it by hooking it up to my laptop computer or is it not recommended?

Thank you

Finally, I love this device :toast:

Question #1 Yes this is normal behavior

Question #2 I am not sure with the VS model however I do not think so it will just display on the screen "weak battery"

Question #3 Yes you can charge the device via the USB outlet on your computer.

I got VapeMail. :mail:

1st thought, this thing is SMALL and heavy for it's size. It had almost a full charge so I slapped my Nautilus on it, set the watts and vaped away. Then I stopped and asked myself what I do after any awaited purchase. Did this change my life in some magical way. Well no, no it didn't (it NEVER does) LOL Ok so back to reality. The fit and finish are perfect. The buttons are clicky and the lights light up. It vapes great and the size is just right. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I haven't put on either of my Sharky condoms yet but will in a bit. Right now I'm still admiring this lil beauty while vaping so much I'm getting dizzy. :vapor:

It's funny but I can't really remember how long I waited for it to come. I know a few are still waiting for yours, but trust me, your gonna love it when you see and use it.

I would heartily recommend this to anyone looking for a regulated mod. Will post a pic when I figure out how to with my phone LOL,

More than a few. Mine hasn't even shipped yet. Their customer service sucks. This better not turn into the Hana modz pre-order fiasco. I'm glad I cancelled that order, though because The Hana modz v3 is actually pretty crappy.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with your Hana. But you are gonna love this lil guy. This has surpassed my expectations in quality size and appearance by far. Can't wait to hear your comments about this lil gem :)

It is a stout little thing isn't it ?

Now I'll just have to wait till vendors here in Canada start selling them ... with a $50-60 markup. LOL

Since vaporshark.com was backordered until 8/26 I just grabbed one on eBay for $200, only $10 more than MSRP & I got it in 3 days. Can you not order stuff on eBay or other online vendors from Canada?

I got to say I'm really disapointed they decided to put the screen on the bottom. Seems like it would be the worst place to put it from a useability stand point.

Ive heard this a few times & I was originally thinking the same thing when I first saw the Vapor Shark. The screen being on the bottom is actually the ideal place. As others have mentioned your most likely not going to be looking at the screen very often, only when you need to check the battery/wattage/ohm's which is usually few & far between. Since the DNA30 screen stays on for 2-min (even worse with the DNA20, 4-min) its really nice to just set the device down & not see a bright screen glaring in your face. For me, the screen being on the bottom is the PERFECT place, wouldn't want it any other way & I'm sure most people who use this device would come to the same conclusion.

I wouldn't risk getting fake garbage from there anyways.
