As I understand it, they've been discontinued for a while, but the vaping market is just now feeling it.
I had another, but I gouged it up a little test fitting it into the Hana mini and didn't wat to use it out of fear for it being compromised, so I've stuck with the VTC4 that came with my rDNA.

I didn't realize they'd be hard to find when I used my only one as a "fixture", or I wouldn't have. Been wanting one to put in my rDNA for about a month now, but couldn't find one.

I'm not going to go crazy buying them on eBay for $100 a piece, since I'm sure some other equivalent will hit the market eventually, but I'm excited to have found one for now.

I'd be happy with just improvements to the existing functionality. I have a clone DNA board in a FT box mod, as well as the authentic one in the VS, and there are a couple things that I like better about the clone board.

For one, the clone board has a much faster refresh than the authentic one. As some one pointed out earlier in this thread, the authentic board refreshes so slowly that when you hit the fire button, it looks almost like it has to "think" about what the voltage is going to be. With the clone board, the voltage just flashes on. As a sub-desire to this one, I'd like to see the voltage indicator stay put after the first fire on the attached atty. It would be nice to be able to see what voltage you're going to fire with the set wattage and resistance, rather than having to fire it.

The real DNA *does* think about it continuously while firing. Make a coil using some wire out of some material with a substantial temperature coefficient like titanium sometime and dry-fire it. Watch the DNA ramp up voltage while firing to keep the wattage the same while the resistance of your coil increases with temperature. Now do the same thing with a clone and watch it fire it at whatever voltage it calculated was needed when the could was still cold. The real DNA does true, constant wattage. The clones do not.

The Samsung is an awesome battery. I, like many, couldn't find the VTC5 so I was told it was just as good. My Hana came with the VTC4, and since I can only compare it with the Samsung, all I can say is I've been very impressed. Illumination Supply is where I found it, and it was only around $10 shipped. Came in a nice plastic box and was quick! My 2¢

Ok let see..., If I were to copy you then I still have to get 1 provari, 1 promini, and the hana (edit: REO). Fortunately I got the rDNA first meaning i can skip all those 3 devices LOL....

nice collection man.. I have several of the same, no Provari's though. might look for one in the classy's. but Im more inclined to go cheap and grab a Eleaf iStick for the price! 49$ 20 watt device that's tiny.. sure.. not a provari.. but.. functionally.. pretty darn close...

Thanks! I do my best to only buy high end, durable devices. I wouldn't even consider a cheapo device or atty.

I feel like vaporshark prints labels for shipment, and then ships them at the end of the week. Why are they so slow? For those that dont know I sent back my device to them on the sep 2nd (overnight, which they paid for) because my firing button would get stuck, and they told me they shipped it out yesterday, but in actuality only the "preshipment info" was sent. And of course it was sent the slowest method possible. So essentially i've had the device for 3 days since labor day, and the rest of the time its either been in shipment or being repaired. This is definitely leaving a sour taste in my shopping experience with them. Even worse is the fact that I went to ECC and they were there with literally hundreds of devices and they wouldn't do an exchange (which I understand) but i felt bad seeing all those devices and reading about people having to wait for their devices to ship. Just ranting.............I love the device, but they have a lot of issues that need to be addressed. Hopefully by sometime this month I will have my refurbished device, which honestly should have been swapped for a new one.

I feel ya man. I am not a huge fan of their customer service or business practices. I do like the device and I'm hoping it doesn't break because I don't wanna deal with them ever again. Good luck and i hope you get it back soon!

So far I have really liked the RDNA. Agree their customer service sucks like no other company I have ever dealt with. I worry about ever having an issue myself. I don't ever want to have to deal with their service either. Truly a shame since the product is one of the best right now.

Been gone for about a week but back. Just an update with how my rDNA is doing.

Been holding up well other than the fact the fire button chrome finish has completely come off. Not a big deal, get's used A LOT.
Also, it has fell twice on concrete hard from about 4 feet high and 5 feet high with a sharkskin but luckily nothing happened or broke, and still works fine!

So far the quality of the build minus the firing button have been rock solid. I also prefer not to have to deal with them again. haha
