The 3D printed parts come from ShapeWays.
Then you assemble it yourself.
Weighs in about 145 grams.

This is the latest one I'm working on for myself with a matching bronze fire button:

And one with stainless steel accents I'm making for a friend:

Edit: I'm running so low on VTC batteries I may need to borrow the one in my rDNA soon !

Those are just sooooooo classy looking!!! :D;)

So far I have really liked the RDNA. Agree their customer service sucks like no other company I have ever dealt with. I worry about ever having an issue myself. I don't ever want to have to deal with their service either. Truly a shame since the product is one of the best right now.

I ordered an rDNA on September 10th and it is still processing. Unfortunately, I didn't notice their 10-day disclaimer until it was too late ... but even when I did, I figured that they couldn't possibly be serious.

Apparently, they are.

Frankly, there is no reason in the world why it should take a company 10 days to process an order, especially when they take your money the moment you place it. If an item is in stock, it should be shipped out the same day or the next; if an item is not in stock, it should say so on the site and be unavailable for sale. I regularly do business with a dozen different online vendors and the longest any of them have taken to process an order is 48 hours, which struck me as rather odd at the time. There's a reason that people avoid fasttech.

It's too bad, because I have no doubt that the rDNA is an exceptional device and I had heard rather good things about Vapor Shark's customer service; however, this has left me feeling rather cranky and I probably will never order anything from them ever again. Yesterday I received an email from someone asking me to recommend a box mod ... and while my own order is pending with Vapor Shark, I told him what was happening and steered him in another direction ... because let's face it: there's nothing particularly special about any DNA30 device, given the current market.

I'm left to decide whether to just wait it out ... or maybe cancel the order and drive a mile down the road and pick up a Provari P3 or something similar.

Thoughts?

Tough call. I waited through a few different promised shipping times, and eventually after that agreed to a different color to get myself out of the mess. The device itself has been great so far. I was in the same conundrum. In regards to a Provari P3 that will work well for tanks/clearos,but 20 watts really isn't enough power for RDAs. They are durable and have good service. I am looking into a REO Grand LP for a bottom fed RDA device next.

The 20-watt/5-amp limit of the P3 doesn't really bother me, as I rarely use RDAs (I prefer a Kayfun, Nautilus Mini, etc.). Honestly, ruggedness & dependability are more important for me, otherwise I'd buy a Sigelei 100-watt or an IPV2/3. Those things have appealing price tags and boast big numbers ... but you know what you're gonna end up with.

Actually, I know perfectly well that I'll get a P3 eventually, no matter what I decide to do. I'm one of those damned collectors who wants one of these and one of those ... but I'm trying to decide if I want to let my current budget ride on the Vapor Shark or do something else. I did notice that they've sweetened the deal by adding a free 30-ml bottle of juice to rDNA purchases; however, that wasn't the case when I placed my order on the 10th. They'd probably include it if I sent them an email ... but I kind of want to see if they do it on their own.

Well ... we'll see. In the grand scheme of things, I know that 10 days is not the lifetime that it feels like, but ... yeah.

I have a provari mini, but the error messages bug me. It was a great and solid device still is. I am sure the P3 will be a big improvement and they changed the error system along with a bunch of upgrades. The vaporshark is a good device too. If you like rebuildable tanks and have the budget look into Erlkonigins. Yes, they are pricy, but my authentic kayfun has been gathering dust since I got it. The entire vape thing with mods, toppers, ejuices is a process not a destination. Best of luck to you on your journey.

I'm not sure what to think about the new Evolv chipset. Temperature? You're still applying DC voltage to resistance wire--and while varying the wattage rather than the voltage certainly was a game changer when the Darwin was introduced (less fiddling, to be sure), figuring out what that equals in fahrenheit degrees seems irrelevent ... or at least just something else to wrap ones head around. Then again, maybe I'm missing the point. Time will tell.

I'm looking forward to giving the Evolv Experience chipset a whirl in the SVD 2.0 ... but I wish that the form factor was a bit different. I kind of like the original, but I'm not crazy about this new one. I don't think I care for the hourglass curves.

It will make more sense when you see it.
I've been thinking the same thing - I'm not making a pizza, I'm vaping.

Yep.
I gave away my ProVari 2.5, and while the SVD looks interesting I can't get over the shape.
No matter how easy it fits the hand... tube mods just look and feel like certain other battery operated devices to me.

I'm approaching about a month of usage now on my rDNA. All is well and it's my everyday/all day device ... thinking about selling and/or "donating" my other mods to others who I may be able to convert from smokers to vapers (probably keeping my ZMAX as a backup unit just in case :) ).

I've managed to scratch up the top around the 510 connector a bit with my Kayfuns, those pesky AFC screws. I've since coated them in teflon tape to tighten them up a little bit. Other than that, all is better than well.

I'm wondering if they'll provide some sort of accessory that will allow me to inconspicuously attach the device to my hand for the day. Or maybe a remote wireless firing option that attaches to a hat with a tube to my mouth? Similar to those beer can helmets?

Currently enjoying some Gambit from Five Pawns in a cheapy-but-goody GAIA RDA, a mild 1.2ohm build firing at 20watts:

its been 4 business days since my device "supposedly" shipped out, and still no updates to the shipping, all it says is "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS". It's been a month since I ordered, I still don't have my device, AND i basically paid for a refurbished device. This is getting to be a MAJOR vaporshark fail. Their customer service definitely fails

Just keep refreshing and it will be on it's way. Well worth the wait.

I see what the problem is here. Try your Kayfun without the AFC screw. I think you will like it better. I keep mine in my vape tool box. I haven't used an AFC in a long time. Even the AFC for my Erlkonigin sits in my tool box.:)
