Lol. After I posted that I realized how much of an ... I sounded.
I don't feel like it needs a skin. I use my small 30 naked. I don't want some silicone thing stopping me from getting it out of my pocket.
Its matte black and a really nice grippy finish. Only the side panel that is the wireless charging side is not that same finish. Its glossier but textured.

Just got one today at vape Summit in Houston. I just started playing with it but I gotta say it is pretty good. It is a huge step up from my provari 2.5.

This is also the reason I avoid buying anything from FL with all my might. Shipping is ALWAYS late and tracking is always a mess. Makes no sense. I get stuff from Cali more consistently and on time than from FL by a mile

Terribly vapor production. Flavor is off too; seems to smell and taste like silicon. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong though.
That said, im not experiencing flooding, so I've got that going for me.
Thing is light as hell too. My favorite feature is probably the fact that I can keep it in the smallest pouch or pocket and it fits nicely.

Okay, did a 28g nickel 12 wrap 2.4mm diameter coil on my other kayfun that clocked in at .16, 20 watts with the temp at 410 and I think this will fit the bill just fine. Maybe the twisted coil wasn't glowing right, but this coil seems to be hitting even better, and slightly warmer. This will likely be the build I stick with, on the Kayfun at least.
I hope someone comes up with a safe way to glow these nickle coils, even if it is just slightly, to check if they are firing right.

You must of have gotten mine. I talked to Vaporshark and they said they accidentally sold mine at Vape Summit and that is why my pre-order is so late. So if you would, just drop it in the mail on Monday and send it to its new home in New Orleans.

I tried that last night. Once Ni wire heats up till it glows, it changes color to a dark blackish purple color.
Also, DAMNED things are so soft that when I pinch them, half the times it just collapses Into a mess hahaja. I'm just too DAMNED used to kanthal

If that's true VS should be called out as the crooks they appear to be, they have had my "preorder" money for two weeks. I didn't pre order a mod so it can be retailed before I get it. I guess short term interest free loans is "de rigour" for the vape industry.
I saw a guy on YT who was demonstrating a nickel build. He was firing the bare nickel coil, but he emphasized the need to only get it to the point that it starts to glow, just slightly, then back off and pinch. He did this with a DNA40 board, but turned off the temp control. I doubt he had any real knowledge behind his assumption that it was safe.
I haven't tried it since I don't know enough about nickel wire, so I guess the question is; is there a safe temperature between glowing the wire and getting it too hot, and if so, does that "just slightly" glowing wire exceed the temp limit on the DNA board. If it does then I can't really see a truly safe way to go about it.

Mine is the same. Tracking since the 5th said delivery today, but was still in oompa lumpa Florida... Check mailbox, only had junk in it. Now tracking is broken and I can't check it lol.. Hoping Monday too.
Well I wouldnt call them crooks. He said they received 4000 orders and that is why it is taking them so long. Anyway, I would not be happy either if I was in your shoes.
They're in the process of shipping out all the pre-orders. I'm sure they knew about the vape summit and had a few allocated for that event.
