The rdna30 skin is a super tight fit and a pain to get on.

It's almost my first VS product, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this. The edge of the sharkskin doesn't cover up to the top edge of the mod

Was reluctant to take the skin off (mega PITA) but some pictures!

Matt black body with a textured darker black center panel on one side

It's a very strong and firm hold, but it does have a slight give/wriggle if you apply sufficient force.

Comes with the LG HE2 Which im a huge fan of

"Spring loaded" negative battery contact flap. GREAT idea. Current flows through the flap instead of a spring, but still has the ability to accomodate slightly longer or shorter batts

Screen is straight:

Overall, I. LOVE this guy. The chip I have is working better than my flask's by a mile. Love the size, and it actually weighs quite a bit ESP for its size. Happy camper.

The built in wireless charge card, has added depth.
They sell a skin sized for the new 40.
Keep us posted on performance. Thanks
Looks great!

Yeap I'm aware. But I bought this one cos the rep from VS said it'll fit well, and they had no plans to make skins for the rdna40. I'm gonna think about whether I wanna pick up the right skin. We'll see. This one's still at least functional.

Performance wise, the chip in this fella has completely destroyed the one I have in my flask40.

It asks if I have a new atty every single time. It recognizes my kanthal builds consistently.

No weird screen glitches either.

DAMN I love this little thing

I've had my rDNA30 for 2 months as a daily driver and already have a dead usb connector and the threads are nearly gone on the 510. Especially surprised about the threads since my much cheaper SVD 1.0 never had any issues. Anyway it'll go back for warranty repairs once my 40 comes in, even if it's not covered at least the parts are cheapish.

So with the 40 I'm going to try to mostly use the wireless charging. I'm not sure what the failure potential is but at least there's no frequent wiggling involved. I'm also putting on a 510 airflow connector to screw in my Nautilus to save the threads. Already have it on my DNA30 and find it's smoother to screw the heads on without adding too much height.

I pre-ordered my rDNA40 through a domestic (Canada) shop so I should have it by next week with any luck.

Mine came today as well. Won't post any pics cause mine looks like Kiwi's, minus the booger!!

This little guy is really nice!! I'm primarily a REO guy but....did a Basil Ray build on a KayFun lite+ and this little guy is just plain awesome!!

28ga NI200, 2.5mm ID, 12 wraps touching, fired low (11) watts and pinched, .16 ohm, 22.5 watts and 440 temp. Had no prob building or installing this coil. Filled tank with Virus and OMG!! Did I say this little guy is awesome?? No strange tastes and the Virus has never tasted so good.

I got the 30 skins as well and I like the tight fit. Over time these will loosen up a bit. Kiwi you can pull up on the sides from the top and it will completely cover the "little guy".

Strike....what drip cap is on your TOBH and what build do you have in it???

Thanx!!

This is the wireless charger I use and works great. Can't really remember where I got it from. Either eBay or Amazon. I've had it for a couple years for my Smartphones.

It's a JMK top cap that you can find here. Products / JMK Tips

And below is the build I posted up this past Saturday and has been holding strong so far with no issues.

Dual 28g nickel around a 3mm screwdriver with 12 wraps. Came out to .13 ohms. On my Tobh 2.5.
