How do you know and what did ecig.com do?

Basically, they didn't have the iStick available for purchase when their sale supposedly went live. People waited around for hours to no avail. Sometime in the very early morning the next day a limited number of units were made available and many of the early crowd missed out. People were very upset and ecig.com made lame excuses that exacerbated the situation. I wasn't ticked myself, but the lameness of their CS response left a very bad impression.

The rDNA 40 has step down so it benefits Nautilus users and it's better than the Istick but it's so buggy you should wait a few months so they can work out all the bugs.

Not in real time but anytime you click on the fire button, it updates the charge bar with the latest charged charge on the battery. Hopefully that answers your question.

I will consider that if they ever offer the service for my DNA30. With the lowest price I've seen for the board at $36.25 (via the DNA40 co-op), $80 is a very reasonable price.

You should check your credit card and then also log into VS to check you account (easier said than done at the moment I'm afraid...the site is completely down for me).
