VS is damned if they do, damned if they don't. The wait is almost over.
As you have noted, VS is caught in the middle: They shouldn't -- and aren't -- shipping boards that they know might be glitchy, and they can't ship boards they haven't gotten from Evolv (and probably don't even really know exactly when to have expected them). Between a rock and a hard place. And although they were late catching on, they seem to belatedly have realized they needed to be more transparent about what was going on and have better communication with those that had placed placed orders, and that Facebook was in no way an acceptable substitute for emails to customers and updates to the website.
