Damn! I don't get to post the pic of the charred skeleton lying in white linen :(

I'm kidding, Madi. I'm glad you are ok. I think some of us here were really beginning to become concerned.

Don't apologize, like Pete said... You're experiment wasn't a disappointment and it certainly wasn't a waste of time. It sounds like the stuff may even do its job a little too well, lol.

We do appreciate you giving it a try.

Hi everyone!

I'm alive!
No bursts, not explosions, no drama! (boring ain't it?)

In fact, no result! Haha!

Sorry bout the late reply just came back frm work, showered, eat, then finally tested the 2 dead atomizers.

The Evo atomizer was dead before and after the rigorous process and drying, still DEAD.

The RN4081 atomizer was half alive, and after the process is officially now fully dead! In fact, a suction motion feels like air - no force needed for a suction.

So there you go. This thing will NOT resuscitate a DEAD atomizer.

However, a study into the atomizer shows that it does look like new. The coils were superclean and dry.... so this cleanser did clean up dried liquid...

Well I'm not satisfied. I have just done a cleaning cycle with the cleanser onto my fully working RN4081 atomizer and see whether there are any improvements...

Sorry for the hype that ended in disappointment everyone....

Mad--just wondering if you gave the one that was have alive a good priming first?

Sun??--

Sun, what does that mean? priming?

Mad--after you wash an atomizer and let it dry, you need to reprime it as you have stripped all the liquid and moisture from it--Just like they are primed when the come from the factory. So before you fire a clean dry one up you need to drop some eliquid directly on the bridge and coil and let it soak in otherwise the atomizer has nothing to burn and will short right out--so on the next one give it a good repriming to see if in fact this stuff works--as you say it make that coil look brand new--so if the connections are all good--then it sould fire --Let us know--Sun:)

Ohh yes. If thats what priming means, I have done the necessary. So far as to drop a few liquid on the coil and the bridges and allowed to soak in.
Those atomizers were dead anyway so I wasn't surprised that they didn't work. Was just hoping for some kinda magic but that didn't happen.:(

Mad--thanks for all the effort--will wait to see what happens with your working one--these atomizers are about as pesty as an ant running on the floor. Sun

Hi all

Last night I tried cleaning my fully working RN4081 atomizer with the vapourizer cleanser.

I didn't really care about the RN4081 as I don't use them anymore. They taste like burnt plastic if you vape it non stop for a while. Probably because the mouthpiece envelopes the atomizer fully....plastic + hot metal = ??

Anyway back to the cleaning cycle. I followed the instructions on the leaflet fully, and then left it for an hour. I dripped and 'primed' it and then tested. YUUKK!! Heavy taste of the cleanser is still there!
So I did another roundof cleaning, this time I boiled after the process and then left i to dry overnight.

I came back from work today and saw it fully dry, started priming it again, and finally, ready to test it.

As I said earlier the RN4081 atomizer was fully working. Now its only half working. Even after making sure that the atomizer is liquidized, that thing just does not work as it used to. Very little vapour, and 3-4 suction to even produce a vapour.

So my conclusion is : This thing sucks. Don't buy it. Save your £3.49 and use the traditional method of boiling or whatever you have been doing.

I'm just happy to share my experience, and hopefully will help someone to save a few bucks for more worthy stuff...

Good luck vaping!

Hey thanks for keeping us all up to date.......I have been hoping that a good cleaner for the atomizer might be a miracle cure for the poor life of them ....keep on having to buy new parts is making the cost of vaping a bit high.

Sun, to tell you the truth, it scared the daylights out of me when I tasted that 'varnish'!I feel lucky that I didn't inhale into my lungs, just did a suction motion into the mouth.
Sorry for the bad news. Maybe your will be better result! Maybe it works better on different atomizers!

Trog's pics are pretty good aren't they.

That black stuff seems to be residue from eliquid. When the rest gets turned into vapour that gets left behind and goes black and crunchy. It coats the heating coil and the theory is that the coil then burns hotter and burns out because of it.

I can't think of any solvent that would remove it, it needs to be scraped off. So however good your atomiser is you're still at the mercy of the quality of eliquid you use. Sooner or later the atomiser will clog and die anyway. The only way around this is a completely clean eliquid that leaves zero residue or a redesign of the atomiser to allow for the build up to be removed.

Yes I am thinking it would be far better if atomizers were sold cheaply in bulk buy packs ...certainly having only 'one' atomizer in a starter kit is not very good with their reliability.

All I can say with this product is "Buyer Beware"--this has to be some kind of acid base that should not be inhaled and even if it did work it--IMO creates another problem that is not worth risking--you might as well dump the atomizer in Muric acid and take a drag off of that---So thanks for the heads up Mad---Sun:confused:

Too true sun.....I think any chemical powerful enough to clean an atomizer is probably far too dangerous to use in case any of it get's vaporized and into our lungs.

Just a newbee thought. Has anyone tried denture cleaner? I know it cleans off tarter build up on false teeth so, maybe it will work on other gunk:D

That as well as a sledge hammer LOL---So many of us have tried everything under the sun!!!! No real luck yet except for this stuff and then the atomizer becomes lethal-lol--Hope that helps--Sun:)
