My understanding stems entirely from my experiences in TC in the past two months. Before that I had only used box mods of my own creation to keep expenses down. But ever since I began to actually tastes my vapor on a warm and toasty setting I just can't go back to low tech junk lol

First was a tesla 200, nickel worked on it but i have an allergy and it makes my throat itchy, plus i hate that taste of metal i got with it. Then that crapped out about the same time got my vtc mini. Titanium made me nervous.Then i learned about stainless tc. Been running it since(about 4 months now), in every thing. Mechs included. Drippers ,subtank minis, now a conqueror (thanks @AlmightyEvan ) and a theorem.

I am tried nikel, titan and SS wire on eVic VTC mini but did not like TC. May be I made something incorrectly. My favorite is WW mode now.

I have not yet tried TC although I am intrigued.
I coil with kanthal, wick with rayon and with my current set ups I never have dry hits or burnt coils.
But I would like to try it if it is Simple.

I started out with the evic mini with ni an ti coils. I was looking to get close to the temperature of a real cigarette smoke do I could stop smoking.

TC works because certain metals increase their resistance as they heat up. The greater the change in resistance, the better the TC.

I like tc on certain juices and have not had chance to try ss coils in tc but would like to. I went to wattage after one tank I have with tc setup bc it seemed to ramp to fast and not get but a small amount of vaper.
