Down the rabbit hole..
Ya know what really strikes me is that, in the big picture of the vaping evolution, VV is already "dated" technology....If I were a viable and stable manufacturer that was in business for the long haul, my money would be directed to new and better technology ( research and development ), not spent on defense of soon-to-be-antiquated, out-dated technology. Heck, there is already a PV that has software so the end-user can program it's functions. As fast as the vaping world is moving, if you do not like something right now, just wait, it will change for the better next month.....just look at the proto-types that are currently under development right now......just my 2-cents....
When I first started only pvs that look like analogs were available from China

Very very true statement. These things are sprouting up like daisies. Newness and Improvements are being made daily. Although I must say I have never seen one that is "Programmable" per say. And I would love to see some of these prototypes of which you speak.

Nate aka Darth Vapor

Eclipse EQ (said to be coming out this month)
A VV Pulse PV ( said to extend battery life)
Boge Revolution II ( looks like a disposable)

These are just a few of the ones that are being seen on various web sites, many others not being seen yet, but are out there....and they are using advanced technology not used in standard, run-of-the-mill VV units....

The PRO line of Notcigs Pv's will be using advanced PWM based controllers , we are going the SIMPLE route , just because a unit has bells and whistles does not necessarily make it better IMO.

SO I guess it would be fine with you if I named the new units PROCIGS and they are Power Regulated Mods ???

Because that is what is happening all around here !!!

Ultimately this is only going to hurt the people that want the option of buying a reasonably priced VV. The ones that do not have the funds for the high priced units but still want to try them. I have many VV's and will buy more before they are priced so high that the average user can not afford to buy one. A lot of the people on this forum are looking for a way to save money. I applaud buzzkill for his entrepreneur spirit but think it was low to use we the people of this forum to rat out the other vendors for him and not say why he wanted the information first.

Cool, if you follow the timelines and read our (the Army (regulars here)) post you would know we knew EXACTLY why he was asking for the information.

I'm all for discussing the merits, BUT to throw out such horrible accusations (and you're not the first btw) is only meant to slander and do harm.

I have been smoke free for 8 1/2 months and Buzz have no small part in that. All the suppliers on ecf are helping us break this deadly f** damn addiction. To lie about any of them with the intent to harm is unconscionable.

Matters little to me what you name it, my interest is in getting the best technology available to achieve the best vaping experience possible.

During my analog days (years), it was easy to just light-up-smoke-discard.....easy...... vaping should also be effortless, and we are getting there quickly.....no there yet....

VV units were a giant step, but just one link in the evolution chain....

IMO Buzz needs to sell a whole bunch of PV's so he will have a pile of money for the attorneys he will be using to defend his patent(if he even gets a patent).....just my 2-cents.....

Oh, by the way, he "touched" one of my buttons with the term "knockoffs"......since he did not have the "first PV ever invented" does that mean that his PV's are just "knockoffs" also.....again, my 2-cents worth......

And, YES, I am enjoying this humerous exercise in futility.......

Ret, I haven't been to the Darwin thread lately but are this P**D off that they also filled for a patent?..................... Or is just on this thread.

Or have hid the fact, instead of being open and honest....................BTW I don't know if they have disclosed this or not.

I agree with you , and Notcigs made the FIRS commercially available VV mod ! and I am trying to protect that , if you think that is EVIL then so be it.

And this ONLY applies to VV not PV's in general

Never said it was evil, I just do not agree with your tactics....but you can do whatever you feel best suits your goals...

I would have to do some research, but I really doubt that NotCig made the first VV mod, maybe the first Commercially available one...unless you can verify that you invented the VV mod, at which time I would stand corrected...

All I know is this. Regardless of what anyone says, does or otherwise, either a Buzz or an Infinity will be in my collection and that is all there is to it.

It certainly is :D As I stated earlier when all is said and done I shall have several to choose from for different situations, they all have their place in my daily routines.

You really are over reacting to this IMO , the choices you have will only get larger , MFG's WILL create new designs that WILL skirt around this patent then THEY WILL patent them FOR SURE !

This industry has not gotten to that point yet but it will it is a fact of business .

I made the Buzz VV design to make vaping BETTER for all of us , just look around over the last 6 months at least 8 companies have made VV devices , IT WORKS that is why they are making and selling them and more companoes have them in the works . If that is a bad design / Idea let me know because it has taken off from what I see around me .

Maybe you should be ...... at the other companies copying this design or basic design using VV !!

I see some mis placed understanding here ( sorry for the crappy English ! )
