Got my first today, a Vision Spinner. Hoping I can get some do's and don'ts from the pros on here, and how a higher/lower voltage affects your juice. I was so tempted to buy a Provari but decided I should probably figure out how to use the basics before investing in something more pricey and wind up breaking it. At this point I only know just enough to be dangerous. :)

Congrats on your Spinner :) One main thing is always have the voltage turned way down when you first try a clearomizer or tank on it. Then slowly turn it up to the desired taste you like. As soon as you have even the slightest burnt or close to getting burnt taste, drop it back down. Once you burn a wick, it's pretty well done with. Try to remember not to start a new tank on it on the highest setting or it might get burnt.

Yea a lot of people stick between 6-8.5 watts. It depends a lot on what ohm coil you're using.

To get your watts just do your Voltage²/ohms = watts or Voltage*Voltage/ohms=watts.

So in your case if you were vaping on a 2.0ohm coil, you'd do 3.9*3.9/2.0= 7.605 watts.

that chart gives a general idea about where you want to be at. but as previous posters said, just judge by taste, starting at the lowest voltage first. :)

+2 on that start with the lower settings and go from there

Hey There Ayla1984, great choice on the Vison Spinner. If you know the ohms on the "tank" that is a good starting point. The lower the ohms on the "tank" the lower the voltage on the battery settings you can be, and still get a good vape. Start low, adjust voltage up, until it starts to taste "burned", should be about right for that "tank'. Sure someone will post chart for fine tuning voltage setting. :vapor:

As far as the chart for ohms posted previously, I'm real lazy and I stink at math. I go by this method and it's basic. Take the ohms of a coil and double it for voltage, and sometimes go a little lower in voltage. For example, a 2 ohm coil will work decent at approx. 4 volts or maybe a little less. A 2.5 ohm coil will work good at 5 volts or a little less. But then again, it also depends on what juice you are using so that's the basics. Yea, I'm lazy. The ohms stuff really made me confused at first though.
