Hmm interesting idea

There are a couple of YouTube vids, I was too lazy to link 'em, user manual vid etc.,.. but Ruby Roo did a good vid of it live in her car, showing how it sets-up and works. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but it makes more sense to me then buying a tank. That is; if you'd rather stick to an rda. I know I would.

Coils are set close to the posts aligned so that if you were to open the air wide, the bottom of the coils are just barely visible. You can visually see clear through the slots.

Thank you for this. I lined up my horizontal coils the same way and it is kicking ... once again.

I don't mind tanks but definitely don't prefer them. Aromizer intrigued me though due to having the same deck basically, so not a big change in building for me. I really don't like the rba on my subtank mini at all. Really enjoying the velocity deck, still some of the best money I have spent in vaping in years.

Maybe consider the Griffin RTA. It was listed on FT today for pre-order, with MAP code it is 26.34.

I will definitely be checking that one out as well, thanks!

Just got my velocity. Going to slap some beastly build on it will post a pic. Here is a build on my Aromamizer which has been fantastic.

Put a big springy dingy 24gTi, 3MMid, 12/11, .18 ohm dualies in her. Wicked it up with big fatty rayons and vapes very smooth. Tons of flavor and vapor pretty much wide open airflow. Have it ramped up to 45J at 510F. Tough comparison as I have been running 3 Stumpys in the rotation. Nice vape so far.

My latest experiment, dual 24ga, 8 wrap 2mm ID, came out to 0.3 ohms.

EDIT: This has been a great build so far, but I think next time around I will go higher resist. I built this one lower than I normally do because I used the 24ga that came with my coilmaster kit, and I was worried about slow ramp up. It actually heats up faster than I thought and cools down slower than I thought, which is nice for the occasional chain hits.

Man, everytime I check avidvaper this thing is out of stock!!! Now I am waiting for over 2 months to get an authentic. Don't want to buy clones. Anyone know where to buy one?
Authentics go very quick, I have the Tobeco clone and couldn't be happier with it for the $15 it cost. I have had no issues with mine, works flawlessly.

So I decided to experiment with some builds and met with some failure. The latest one I did was a dual vertical build, 28ga, 9 wrap at 2.5mm and came out to .8 ohm. Nice vapor, but flavor is severely lacking. Has anyone done vertical with any success on the velocity? It is probably not ideal for this rda, but I thought what the heck. Wicked across the center, down through each coil and trimmed at the bottom lightly touching the deck.

24g, 6 wrap at 3.5mm. Works for me and I prefer it over the horizontal coils. Run it on a Stingray X clone and my Snow Wolf 200. I'm pretty new to this but the way the flavor comes through I don't think it could get better.

Hmm, I will have to give it another shot. So you are running at .3 on that then? How many watts are you tossing at it?
