Verizon is releasing the IPhone today....

I've had the orignal droid and the droid 2 and had problems with both not that I want to sell my soul to apple. Have you rooted your X?

I have not, I had the Droid for a year....didnt have many issues, aside from it slowing down (cluttered probably) - I love the X..no issues at all

Nooooo. I love my droid and have nothing against apple but this could be the death of verizons network. I may have to switch back to at&t. Everyone knows that their network was bogged down by those crazy data hungry iphone users and now they will all switch to verizon and repeat the process. Worst news ever.

I agree steve. I love my droid and got it when first came out and have watched the network slow down as Droid sales exploded. This is not really good news for existing Verizon customers.

Verizon Droid X user here. I've noticed it has been slower lately. I love how cell phone companies are so ready to sell you something, but they don't want to spend the money on towers.
