I have taken apart the V2 head ...
v2 atty.jpg

Initially I thought that rebuilding might be a problem but now I don't forsee any issue. The 'insulator' has slits on both sides near the top so you can easily insert a coil / wick. Rebuilding these is the same as V1.

It looks like the inner sleeve is fiberglass - I wonder what it's purpose it... Are there an signs of singeing on the little bottom gasket? Does the coil light up normally?

Yes V2 atty head fits the V1. However there is a slight gap from the top of the rubber cap to the tank cover.
So far, it is working okay.

That's great to know - thanks, Larkdl. :) A small gap is not a big deal, I'm sure. I was more worried about the air flow, since the first version had the holes in the base, while the new version doesn't seem to.

Well, I didn't take apart the atty that I have been using so I can't comment on the burning of the rubber gasket reported for V1. The coil lights up normally and so far I haven't detected the burnt taste. The tank I am using has the shorter wicks ... you need to do a lot more tilting to recharge the wicks (in comparison to the Stardust).

Not sure what the purpose the fiberglass (?) sleeve is. I guess this is Vision's version of the ceramic cup insulator used in the Fluxo's.

I did a live show on TotalVapingNetwork -- I have one every Sunday at 6PM -- where I compared the revision 1 and revision 2, and tore the head apart. I believe the one that GotVapes is getting is going to be even more revised than the one that is out.

Since the product was donated from another vendor, I am not going to post a link to the recording. But, I will say this -- the revision 2 Vivi Nova is still rebuildable, hits better than the original, and is pretty awesome. The metal tubes from the first version seem to also work with the second.

So no more muted flavor ?
Bad had mentioned when ask and said the vivi nova they will be getting should have the long wicks not the short ones were seeing.
I have one short wick on its way and hope to get the long wick version when gotvapes gets them in stock.
Glad there working so far for the folks that have them .
Hopefully they continue to work well. ; )

Edit: in that French video i did see they moved the airhole out of the nova cap and back normal ie: in the threaded 510 connector as 2 that i have were hard to draw on much unlike the vision stone which i still use that has the airlfow via the connector and produces nice vapor and flavor but its drawback as many know was the airtube flooing after a while which the nova never did flood cause its aurtube is basically sealed off.

I think the vendor can order them with long or short wicks ... and no more muted flavour (of course, I guess this depends on what you consider to be muted flavor).

I just rebuilt a V2 atty/head in about 10 minutes using 34 awg nichrome. Resistance approx = 2.9 ohms.
Vapes like a champ! I think I have finally found my goto atty. Based on what is going on with V2, I do dare say that
the rebuildable Stardusts will be a big time winner ...

Where do I get nichrome or kanthal and wicks, where can one find supplies to rebuild atties? Thanks
