I am still unable to get 3x 2.8 ohm heads in my shopping basket. I want to pull the trigger on two of the v2.5 tanks (need one for my wife and another one for me for another juice) plus additional heads till I figure out how to rebuild them.

Did you empty the cart completely, and then put three in again from the product page? That's what worked for me...

I got my first order in with 1 VN v2.5 and 3 v2.5 heads ( one of each ohm )... I did get one of the short wicked 2.8 heads, so I'll be able to see which I prefer I suppose without having to manually trim them down. I also ordered another VN along with 9 heads ( 3 of each ohm ) yesterday and Danno is on the ball, got my shipping notice even before the postman dropped off my first order.

The first order of business was to double check that the v2.5 heads fit into a v1 VN body... they do if you extend the silicon seal ( the milky clear tube that is on the top for you newbies ) up. I won't be able to see how well it seals and vapes until after I get off work.

My initial impressions of the v2.5 are encouraging. The initial draw is about perfect for me... a little lighter draw than the Stardust ( which is too tight for my preferences ) and a bit tighter than I remember for the v1 VN. The flavor is much better than the v1 VN and even started out about the same as where my Stardusts are currently at that I've been using for a week... I believe I've been noticing an increase in flavor but I've only vaped about 1ml at this time, so that may be just my imagination since I didn't expect it to get better until I've vaped about a tank full.

Overall and a quick first impression, I do believe the technical issues I had with v1 have been addressed. I would prefer to see a little more of a modern and clean look on it .... not into the crosshatching on the unit.... checkering is for gun stocks not PV tanks IMO.

so are you saying you new 2.5 head is working on your vivi 1

I got some from another vendor just because they had them in stock 2 days before GV (my GV order is in the mail right now) The new heads they had work fine on my Vivi 1. I'm hoping they are the same that you carry because they work GREAT! Absolutely awesome. They run high on resistance though. The 1.8 ohm labeled head measures at 2.2, the 2.4 ohm labeled read at 2.8, didn't try the 2.8 labeled one yet. No leaks, filled to the top of the rubber on the head, short wicks, great flavor, great vapor, no dry hits until it gets low then just tilt back a little. Holds a little more than 3 mils. They had them labeled at 5mil... They also carry the metal tubes. I have a whole V2.5 coming from GV, extra heads, and I think another metal tube or two... Can't remember what I ordered. This is the best vape I have had to date

I didn't have to move the silicone collar at all. Just screwed the head on and screwed the cap on. So far, I'm very pleased.

I've been using the new heads on the old vivi nova for 3 days and am VERY pleased indeed. I might just give up cartos/clearos altogether and just keep them as a back up. Waiting for more heads to have a go at rebuilding the coil.

:pJust got mine in the mail. Not sure why China can't get the ohms correct???

Labeled Actual
1.8 2.6
2.4 3.5
2.8 3.3

Really how hard could it be to stay within +- .2 ohms? Not hard for other manufacturer. So luckily I have a vv. So to get my preferred 10 watts on the actual 2.6 head, I will have to crank the vv to 5.1 volts.

This very well may be the reason for muted flavor in some reports. If you are use to a 1.8 ohm on your device, but its really 2.6, then the hit is going to seem weak. So I would encourage all to check your ohms, so you can set your vv to a good voltage for your preference. For those without adjustable voltage, your SOL. what you get is what you get.

Now for those that will re-build when needed, you will be able to control the ohms better.

P.S. That piece of salt water taffy was good. :p
