Whats the differance between the v2 and the v2.5

I too would like a definitive answer to this. I know we have been told the tank material is diffrent/better but it seems the rest, heads & body are the same as the revised v2.

they are pretty much the same, besides the long wicks and the new tube the difference are in the fine tuning and when the runs where made, as you see with the 2.8 heads, there is some with 1 thick wick versus the many strands, both work well but that was just part of a earlier version going between 2.0 to 2.5, some others also got these fatter wick in other ohms in europe etc..

each week minor changes where made to the heads and body, while others where still getting v2's, changes where being made in how they prep them on the line, how they build the heads, assembly, the coil was changed twice in the last 3 weeks before final runs as well, testing was still going on as well. etc... the v2.5 is the final run and of the last major production, no changes have been made since.

Just a note to wash out your tank before use.
Im blind as a bat but not with my jewelers eyepiece.
When i got the v2 and the v2.5 i inspected the threads on the tank and saw many tiny pieces of plastic shards sticking out from the threaded area on both tanks.
The drip tips i took off and it had a film of production oil on its o-ring.
After unscrewing the original coil the tube it screws into had some stuff in there not a lot but its now cleaned out.
The silicon cap that covers the coil has a nasty smell to it also all of them do. Try putting a "new one" up to your nose and smell it.

After thoroughly washing all the individual parts it vapes very nice like the version 2 i bought just before this one came out.
The 2.8 ohm wicks were giving me a muted flavor and after 2 tankfuls i decided to cut the wicks similar to what they look like on version 2 .

With the 2.8 ohm wick cut the flavor is now there .
I like this tank but all i suggest is to wash them out real good.

Quick question, and sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere in the previous 134 pages -- the markings on the tube only go to 2.8ml. That leaves quite a lot of air space -- is there an issue with filling any higher?

I heard over filling can cause leaking. So I have not tried it. I like my juice on the coil. Worse than can happen is a mess. Let us know if you try it.

I have filled higher then the line there (not normally but I wasn't paying attention  I'm old and blind as a bat ) and it doesn't leak at all.

I think I'll fill to the 2.8ml marking for a day or two, just to make sure I'm not getting any leaking from causes other than overfilling. Then try filling a bit higher, like maybe to the top of the wicks, and see what happens. Thanks.

My turn to brag. Provari. Provari reads the same 2.2 ohms as my multimeter. Doesn't matter to me. Vapes like a beast and looks like ie was made with the provari in mind.

I can relate to that...

I really like how you store your vaping stuff - did you just take blocks of wood and drill holes in them? Or did you buy it like this? Been looking for something like this to keep my "active" carts in.

Much thanx, your very kind. I take a untreated 4 X 4, and drill holes using "forstner" bits, of verying depths (A drill press, is a must). One is a 3 "step" and the other is a 2 "step" My profile "Album pics" shows the full view..Its quit long...
