I have a vivi nova V2 from another provider. No muted taste. The 2.4 Ohm rated has 2.5 Ohm, so thats OK. Amazing flavor right out the box. Much vapor, flash don´t know, using 40/60 VG/PG liquid with 0.6 nico. The best clearo tank I ever had right out of the box, no fiddling, easy to handle, big enough tank, cheap spares. If the V2.5 is still better....People, get some of these, they are great.

I'm getting a slight muted flavor in my v2. I think I'll try the heads GV sells when they get them, because they say they got the final revision and the vision site did change the picture of the heads where the silicone comes up around the top of them. So I got either 1.9 or GV will have 2.5?? Who knows... but they should be different.
Just thinking out loud here....people stated on some of the v1 heads that more than just the coil was heating up and this was effecting taste. If the final revision of v2 fixed this, then there would be no need to have the completely open silicone cap and they could narrow it more again. Maybe the final revision of the v2 heads fixed this and they could narrow the silicone cap on them. So maybe the final revision v2 also has an improvement in side posts in the head not heating up? Anyone take apart an early v2 head and see if it had that same issue of the side post heating up? Was it already fixed in an early v2 head?
i rewicked and recoiled one of my original nova heads, I left the coil legs long and folded them up and twisted them- this doubles the thickness and keeps the coil legs from heating up and burning the white rubber isolation grommet. Great vapor and taste now! No off or muted taste from burnt rubber
I wonder if the muted flavor is do to one of these?
1. The need for break in time.
2. The need to soak / wash the head right out of the package.
3. The heating coil in contact with the seal.
Anyone able to try a new head and re-wire using NR for the legs and soak / wash before 1st use.

I did do a good hot water rinse over the whole thing before I started. I'm not having any burnt taste on this 2.4ohm but did notice a burnt on my 1.8 ohm occasionally. I could try a couple of more heads because I got 12 v2 heads total
But I think it'll be easier to just try the final revision because I didn't notice a flavor difference in the 2 I tried. What battery mod are you using? And if it vari volts, what setting for each head.

Well, I got the V2 - only because I wanted a comparison of long wicks with short wicks, and, well, I was curious about how different various versions are... It works great, to be honest. No funny taste, flavor intensity is almost comparable to the Stardust, and so is flavor profile - this is what I expected from the V1, and I'm certainly not disappointed in the V2. And *amazing* amount of vapor. The draw is really nice, not too tight not too loose, very smooth.
And, btw, didn't wash it or dry burn it or anything. Just filled right out of the box.
I can't wait for V2.5 - will get several of them for sure. If V2.5 is even an iota better than V2, my addiction to Stardusts is in grave danger. LOL

I got the first version of it and am waiting shippment of the second. I LOVED the first one - after I fixed it-....you're not going to put the Dusters in danger tho I still use both, you will too I watchin like a hawk for the new ones !!
Maybe gv will get a better one on the vision site they give a shout out to chris from gv for his help on it .idk i never liked the stardusts mine leaked all over i prob just didnt use them right.cant wait to get the 2.5 hurry get them lol
Right now....I am very happy in a world with Vivi Nova and Stardusts. Just waiting on the new stuff to order more of each. (I do keep thinking about that comment bad mad about a couple more products coming that would use the same heads tho)
I know Badkolo mentioned it as version 2.5, but it is actually revision 2.5. I am sure they will still need about a half a tank to break in, but some of the new changes are going to be great! I am holding off on getting any more, until GV gets rev 2.5 in.

Kind of a Questions and Answers, for after the reviews, since people can chat with me during the show. It is still new, and I am working out the kinks, but last week was a great show.

On the negative side, I vaped so much yesterday, that my taste buds went south. Can't taste much of anything. My favorite fruit/coconut/cream concoction just tastes like burnt coconut...

Revision 2 is really good. Once revision 2.5 gets here, the Vivi Nova could be one of the best tanks. I really love rev 2, so 2.5 has to be at least 50% better... right.
