Revision 2 is really good. Once revision 2.5 gets here, the Vivi Nova could be one of the best tanks. I really love rev 2, so 2.5 has to be at least 50% better... right. ;)
I have to disagree with you on this statement..."The Vivi Nova could be one of the best tanks".... I think the Vivi Nova WILL be the best tank not "could be" !  (can ya tell I like it ?)

Today, I tried again to use the V2. I am still at odds about the Nova. In comparing the Nova V2 to a Fluxo there is no comparison. The Fluxo wins hands down. Why is there a difference? There should be no difference, wick is the same, juice is the same (atty resistance +/- 0.2 ohms), same battery. The only difference is the size of the tank and the NR wire (fluxo uses NR, Vivi does not). Could the size of the tank have anything to with the performance of the Vivi? Could the material used for the tank impact/degrade performance?

I have read a lot of great things about using 100% cotton yarn as wicking material. Going to try this tonight as the wicking material in the Nova. Wish me luck :)

I wish I could mod a CE2 to use the Vivi atty head then I would know for sure.
Maybe my expectations for the Vivi are too high.

As a reviewer, I have used a lot of tanks, and some of them are quite awesome. The Vivi is getting close to matching some of my favorites. But, these new atty tanks have me drooling. Hey, Badkolo... get one!

Right now I can't really tell about the flavor intensity (was good while my taste buds were working though), but what I find great is that the head that measures 2.6 Ohms can go up to 4.2 V and not give me any dry hits. I could never do that with the equal ohmage Stardust for some reason.

I really can't wait until v2.5 comes out.

atty tanks?

I hope to be coming home with one after VapeStock. I am spending the night in Indian Rock Beach tomorrow night, and will be heading home Sunday. I will hopefully have some time to spare, before I start "LordDavon Presents: LIVE".

The flavor is pretty good. It is slightly muted, but not bad at all. It does get better after breaking in too.

After vaping the vision stone 3 which i like the flavor from i decided to empty my vivi nova 2 and wash all the individual parts real good with soap and water even the 2.4 coil head. Rinsed it real good with cold water blew out this and that and set the parts out in the sun on patio table to fully dry.

Hours later i put back together and put some vg on coil and fired a few times . Filled with my juice and been vaping it since.
Flavor is much better im happy to say . I dont know something changed and only thing i can thing of is if the factory used some oil or something on the parts when assembled cause my e-liquid flavor was just not there with any of the heads i tried but now its mostly there with this 2.4 head im currently useing and may get better as im still on first tankful since the soap wash.

I will clean the other heads tomorrow but continue useing this head for now .
What i like about this is no flooding of the airtube unlike the stone tank and i wait with anticipation even more now for when gotvapes releases there nova.

Are you talking about an atty tank (atomizer tank) or a ViVi Nova v2.5?

Like the idea of an atty tank but haven't seen anything that comes close to working halfway decent. :)

I am talking about the atty tank. There are a couple of new ones out, and the stores are going to be at Vapestock. Wish me luck! :)

I'm in agreement with my V2 also. I like the fluxo much better. Could the diameter of the wick be making a difference with taste? I notice the wick of the fluxomizer appears thicker.

Good News ... I rewicked using 100% cotton yarn with 34 awg nichrome (4 wraps approximately = 2.5 ohms) and I am very happy with the results on the V2. The best experience with the Nova so far. The cotton yarn wicks very well, better than other other wicking material that I have used to date. Getting closer & closer now to the Fluxo vaping experience ...

It could be related to the thickness of the wick. The cotton yarn wick I am using is thicker than the wick used in the fluxo ... maybe this is what the Nova needs. A thicker wicking material.

I notice the only time I get a good hit with my v2 is when it has been sitting for a while on it's side. I figure the wick is just 100% saturated at that time. I would think a thicker wick would fix this. People are always getting good results rewicking and you figure most people make it thicker.

Refilled the nova last night and its nice taste is there im happy to say. This morning picked up my box mod and started vaping and nice vapor and flavor now @ 70pg/30vg
As a note mine stands up straight on desk overnight and this morning the e-liquid was below the wicks when i picked it up to vape no dry hits to my surprise.

Mine is on a ProVari....so sits upright. I have never had a dry hit off this thing. The flavor was a little muted until I trimmed wicks down to about 1/2" as someone suggested. I'm still on the original 2.4 head. Can't wait till I can order more.
