I was just about to ask about this... I know rubbing alcohol is toxic, so I ordinarily use Vodka. But I'm out. What if I rinse the stuff really really well afterwards, do you still think it's dangerous?
I use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and as far as I'm concerned what doesn't evaporate will wash away in hot water. I wouldn't be concerned if I didn't wash it with the miniscule quantities that could possibly remain. We're talking at most a few parts per million, maybe billion and those are odds that don't bother me when compared to all the other contaminates in each and everyone of our environments whether breathing or eating.
