will the ultrasonic take all the gunk off the coils or do you have to do something ealse with them ?
I am trying out the 1.8ohm head in a couple of them right now. Sure had to dial down the voltage. I would think the 1.8 would be great for folks with a lower voltage PV.
I am going to try the 2.8ohm head next.
Anyone else running a 2.8ohm head on a twist? If so how many volts are you needing to get a good vap?

ive been running the 2.8 on my vmax at 3.7-4.0v. Not sure on the twist. The vmax is about .5v higher adjustment wise from most other pv's. Try 3.3-3.5 of course your juice will determine alot of that.
Running a V2 on a twist at 4.4 volts on the 2.8 ohm head with good results.

I run stuff through with just water. Do a water change and a couple more rinses at the end. I do dry burn when they are dry...many only need 1-2 burns....some, with sweet juices, need serveral. I used to start with 1/2 water, 1/2 white vinegar, but I don't see any difference with just water.
hey guys just ordered my 1st 2.5 version. I have the v2 and like it alot. Alot of people are talking about cutting the wicks down. Has anyone tried cutting down just one wick? maybe get the best of both worlds? just an idea

So not sure what the best way to ask this is but if I am looking at 7-8 Watts of power my math says I should use the 1.8 (7.6 Watts) on 3.7 right? BUT I have seen a lot of people say the flavor is better on the 2.4 O on 3.7 which would be (5.7 Watt) so be a cooler vape right? So wondering if the setup using a wick etc gives more flavor at the lower wattage. I get home tomorrow and I have 2 vivis waiting but wasn't sure where I should start. All my fluid is 70/30 on clearomizers they are pretty smooth so hoping for a minor improvement with these as well as a major improvement for refill and durability. I could also run at 6V but even 2.8 will put me at 12 Watts. My goal is Flavor not TH or Necessarily a hot/warm hit.
OMG... After reading the last hundred pages or so I really really really must get one of these things. I had a version one & didn't like it. And I've been thinking about the 2.5 for awhile. I might just have to shut up & do it already.

I know the new stardust is going to have higher ohm coils. Will these be compatible with the nova???

I love my vivi the way it is. I was just wondering how short you guys are cutting the wicks? Maybe a pic? I think for my mtn dew incident last nite I may ruined the 2.4 head the little rubber sleeve came off and not sure how to put it back on the little metal ring came out too. Is it a goner?
Not cutting mine. For me and my juice = less flavor. If you do want to (eeek!) then id say the rule of thumb is like a stardust where they just touch the tank walls.

Ya know they sell spill proof keyboards and mouse's for PC's. Not sure we can get a spill proof vivi tho? Bad whats the latest on spill proof vivi's??
Everything you are asking are going to actually be a personal preference... there is no math that will tell you what wattage you like the most with a particular juice. In addition... juice flavor A may taste better to you at a certain voltage and juice B a different voltage.
It almost sounds like knowing the wattage is almost useless but it isn't... it is a starting point that you will use with all of your juices and then adjust up or down to suit your own preferences.
High voltage vapors are now just starting to learn something... it isn't the voltage that is important, it is what wattage you can get at the coil that will affect the flavor and throat hit. This means that it will be a combination of voltage and the resistance that is needed to reach a wattage that you prefer ... and that wattage can usually be achieve with higher or lower voltages

So to add to that then a VV is really where it is at due to the fact that you can adjust accordingly for your preference right? I have seen the kick which appears to be a set it and forget it but like you said juices are all different so then aren't you just back to square 1?

I have a love/hate with variable voltage... it is too complex making the user always do the math in order to know what their wattage is... to do that, you must first measure the voltage and then the resistance. But I sill love the ease of adjusting them.
To me variable wattage like the Darwin ( wich is an odd design ) and Kick are the right way to do variable whatever. The downside to a Kick is inconvienant to adjust on the fly. Still, I love my Kick and I'd consider a VV device a step back.
I'm hoping that at some point soon, the rest of the industry will quit thinking VV and switch to the more logical VW type of device. To me, it makes sense to tell me how hot or cool the coil is... not the voltage it took to get it to that wattage.
