Ok need some help or suggestions should I say. I use the vivi on my Buzz, which is a 510 connection and I use a 510 shorty adapter. Well problem is it's ugly! How can I use a cone to cover the connection to the bottom of the tank when there are no cone threads and ego adapters don't play nice with the Buzz. Any ideas? Plz remember I don't tinker,fiddle or mod

Yeah the 510 shorty works great. I have tried 5 diff ego adapters and none work. I don't get it.
According to the urban dictionary, a poopil is a student who spends more class time in the bathroom than in the class for the purposes of avoiding class. I think the -ino suffix means little.
In this context, perhaps he means someone who spends more work or home time on the forum for the purposes of avoiding doing any real work?

Forgot to answer this one... The thread got derailed because the ViVi works so good - not much to complain about or tinker with.
Besides, the microwave talk will stop when stuff drops, you'll see - we'll all be going nuts about the new toys. LOL

So that makes sense a modder plays with a mod .All taken care of now .

Actually the noun is tinker, although tinkerer is also acceptable. We use it as a person who enjoys fixing and experimenting with machines and their parts which links it to modder also. If you work as a tinker you may also be said to fiddle (in a non-melodious way.) So, if you mess or monkey around, muck about or around, putter or fiddle you are indeed a tinker.
Now modder is a very different thing modder isnt someone who mods, but someone who is (a) mod the dictionary hasnt caught up to our particular usage yet (probably an FDA regulation.) Where we take modder from modification, mod itself (as formal usage goes) is from modern. A mod is a British teenager of the 60s who dresses stylishly and listens to rhythm and blues often with short hair and riding a motor scooter. Mod. was also used by aviators in the early 20th century to abbreviate modification (our usage) so I guess we should add that respective period. Considering we are a new community, I would suspect we will see our mod/modder showing up some day too we just need to be patient as our community grows I suppose.

OK, so I got around to building my own coils. Fun, frustrating, tiny, cheap. That is my review of the process. I have working brand new coils with silica wick on the old and new vivi heads. They are at a higher ohm than I prefer, 2.8-3.2 is what I'm getting both with a multi meter and the Ao reading from the provari. I'm only using 3 wraps. I don't know what guage the wire is as I bummed some from badkolo(chris) and purchased this stuff to start: mod parts
So, as far as it goes, I'm only using 3 wraps of wire, ohms are too high. I can achieve more wraps and lower ohms by using thicker wire? If this is 36g I assume 32g will give me more room to play with?
As far as wick goes... Been hearing lots of people using cotton candle wicks with great success just no ability to dry burn, which I'm fine with. The silica wicks just don't cut it omho.
So, now the real questions, where to buy candle wicks and the proper gauge wire?
Also I'm not sure if this is kanthal or nichrome or even if they are the same thing... Anyone who wants to jump in and answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it. My main goal is a 2.0 ohm coil with 5 or 6 wraps around the wick and a cotton wick...

I was able to get 2.5Ω with 2.5" 32 Kanthal. Then I went to 1.5" and got 1.6Ω. I dont remember how many wraps the first was but the second was 3.

Really!!!!! I am a total girl at Lowes or Home Depot ya know the deer in the head lights look. Any idea what size I would need? I have both brass and chrome tops, Do they have brass?
So... what I have is most likely 36 g...?
Dude on reddit just said he gets 1.8 ohms at 3 wraps with 32g wire... Should I go with 30g wire for more wraps or is that wire too thick?
