I don't have time to read through 200+ pages of comments was there a fix for the flavor on the vivi nova 2.5? I just got mine I am breaking it in on the 2.4 as we speak however I was wondering if there was a general concensus on how to get the flavor upgraded quickly

Have you got short or long wicks on it? There were some who felt cutting the wicks short, so they're just touching the sides of the tube, made for an improvement in the flavor. Of course what juice you're using and what setting your pv is also factor in.

I did do a quick thread search on 'flavor' and came up with quite a few hits, however. That should cut the reading down to a manageable size for you!

it did cut them down but there was no yea or na on if trimming the wicks helped tremendously

There was no consensus because it depended on the juice as well as the settings on the PV in question... you won't know if it helps with yours until you try it and it isn't rocket science to trim the wicks on one to see

Well it won't hurt the flavor if you trim one and you won't know if it helps until you try. I'd suggest you finish off a tank worth, if it doesn't improve much... trim one and see...

Yup, I was just about to post about that. GrimmGreen has had his kicked Silver Bullet short out and melt his hot spring/battery *twice* while using a Vivi Nova on it. Googling around, this has happened at bare minimum of 2 other times that I could find. However, in ALL cases, it happened on a Silver Bullet. I don't want to cause a panic or anything, just a PSA, to not use this product on a Silver Bullet.

The only thing I can really think of that would cause a short on the Silver Bullet is that it is something to do with how the bullet 510 connection is threaded, and it's shorting out there (we all know the Vivi Nova 510 post has had issues, and is overall quite odd). If it was something in the device itself, we should have more reports of this occurring, but we do not.

Mine also dropped the spring on the Silver Bullet due to a short. It had nothing to do with the silver bullet. I pulled the center post out of the vivi and found a piece of metal(tubular looking shaving)from the manufacturing process moving around inside. I reassembled the vivi and it has been on my Silver Bullet ever since with no problems at all. The small piece of metal was blue from the heat. This piece of metal is tiny. Hope this helps...

It doesn't play nice with the Ovale V8, but the Ovale V8 is not the greatest device in the world, either.

I haven't had any issues with either of mine and have rebuilt them multiple times. I think any new ones I get though I will defiantly be checking the center post for sure.

Got my first vivi...loaded it up yesterday and put it on my twist at 4.2 with the 2.4 head...at first I was like meh...kinda off taste. Let it sit for about 30 min and tried again and does this thing blow or what!!!! Getting better flavor than my stardusts and loads of vapor...hits are stronger too. I am in clouds of vape heaven!!!!!
