You don't need a twist, variable voltage is overrated and is a reaction to the unregulated lower voltage EGO. I got one and guess what 3.7 to 3.8 volt was the sweet spot for me, so now it just sits in a drawer and I use the X2 anyways.

I'm not much of a judge of TH, but I also became intrigued with the Volt due to the Steeljan video. I have been vaping since last Dec, using a VV mod since March, and I am absolutely loving my little Volts! I say go for it. I think you will love it for certain occasions as I do, and they do have a 30 day guarantee if you don't.

No doubt our community has been infiltrated by a shill from Ego. (Member since 7/2012 with 26 posts) most likely is only trying to justify to themselves all the money they spent on the Ego. I got an Ego from my local Craigs List with all the bells and whistles VV and all with 3 tanks for $20. I gave it to a friend of the Wifes to give Vaping a try and she just ordered some SI Volt equipment because I lent her one of my X2 1300s with a Clearo full of Joe after she returned the Ego and guess which one she liked best? and at less than half the price... My advice for those that are after a Monster TH is a Manual 1300 with a Clearo full of Cowboy 24. Just press and hold the button for about 2 seconds before you Vape and it will roll your eye balls back into your head while hitting everything from your throat to your big toes! Just sayin!

You just made me really want to try a manual. Volt auto 78+SI carto's just don't give the TH I want, even though they stopped cold my PAD Marlboro Lights habit. The 1300X2 auto + clearo is much better, though. I use 24mg 80/20 in both(a competitor's liquid.) I have 2 Nano's being shipped and I'm hoping they will be even better.
I can say this much.
I went from a competitors start up kit. A little 403 bat with cart that bhad a decent taste but lasted 4 puffs then I was getting wisps of smoke and thinking what am I doing wrong.
Next was 900 X2 witha 650 and 1300 just to round out the group with the original clearo. very good flavor and decent flavor.
To the CE3s, which the first deep drag that made me cough on 6 or 8 mg nicuid. I never coughed on a smoke even if I killed it in a minute. When it was 20 degrees outside you bet 1 or 2 puffs and that smoke was inhaled.
just be prepared.
If the nanos are anything like the bottle coil ce3s, it will be wonderful. Better yet they should be better since SI did the leg work.
I do have a bottle of SI 24mg Desert Joe. I loaded up a ce3 of that a week ago. I got absolutely no throat hit but I did get a huge buzz. Needless to say I won't be vaping 24 mg anytime again.

I just started vaping with the Volt X2 and love it.. I'm not a big throat hit person ..but that is because it makes my throat scratchy and stuff.. I have thought about getting some of the smaller volts to see if I can get some family to quit smoking.
My fiancee (who doesn't smoke) wanted to better understand how vaping is not like smoking. I ordered her some non-nic watermelon juice, and she's having fun with it. I showed her all of the fun colors and smaller form factor from SI, and I'm going to be picking her up some gear too! That way when she smells some more sweet after-dinner vape sessions of mine, she gets to have some fun too. It reminds us of when we lived in another city and used to go to hookah bars.

Just be sure to not do this first thing in the morning and if you do make sure to put 911 on speed dial, don't ask me how I know this.
hmmm, this conversation make me want to try a manual too. Only have automatics. Maybe I'll get one on my next order, too, to try. I want to try out everything. Still seeing what I like. That much of a difference? I didn't know if I'd like having to hold down a button.
I have several 1300s in both Auto and Manual. I love both but if I need a really strong hit the Manual with a Clearo of Cowboy wins that contest and if you really really want a monster hit do it in passthrough mode with the 1.5 amp household charger, it will give you a TH like a non filtered Lucky Strike.
