Mary - I do use photography as a temporary outlet, but only with an idiot-proof camera that has stabilization and auto-focus. I have a ton of critters on my property, and it's a bird-watcher's dream. Here are a couple of shots of critters in my yard-not: (click to view)

Is being a wise ash considered a craft? >:)

Electrician by trade, all types of musical instruments pique my interest - guitar mainly, djembe, harmonica, mess around with didjeridoo. Web design, camping and the great outdoors and feeding my nicotine addiction!

Jim...you are in The Women's Room...

I love to watch racoons....did you know they love raisins also?

I used to do a lot of woodburning before my kids were born.

My interests are football, Great Danes, Mustangs, music, fishing, golf, reading, and word games.

Hi Landhew.....nice to meet you. Welcome to The Womens Room :):) There is a lady in here that has great danes, I think it's Pamdane :)

I agree! The lanyard idea sounds good, too. Those are fun bracelets. Are those metal snaps on some of them or does the cord loop over the metal piece, tm?

rave, I love the bluebird.......something I never see up here.

The snaps are studs like you see on western belts and saddles. They are two-pieces that screw together so I made a gap in the cord and pushed the stud through. Hope that explains.

I love them all but raccoon is so cute. Be really careful around raccoons. They may be cute but that can also be very vicious.

Thanks for all the compliments on my bracelets. I had a lot of fun making them. It's been awhile since I made one so I don't know if I will get back to it although I still have tons of cord. I thought about making dog collars but I'm more into making than selling so what would I do with them? :( Same with the lanyard idea. Right now my interest/passion is making PV holders out of hardwood. There's something about beautiful wood that draws me like a magnet.

The boys love making the paracord bracelets. I need to get some light blue or teal to make one for me. Not into the browns and reds too much.

I have 8' of Teal & Turquoise that I could give you if you want one or both. It takes 1' for each inch of bracelet. So there is enough in an 8' cord to make an 8" bracelet but I don't have any more buckles. This pic is a little dark so the colors are really a bit lighter than they show and I think I have the cords in the wrong bags. The top one looks navy but it's not. It's really more the color of the bottom one. The bottom ones true color is in the closeup in my previous pics. If you are interested, they are free. Just PM me.

Actually, it's an indigo bunting. You don't often see them unless you hang out in the woods or drive along country roads.

I would like to see your PV collection. Got pics?
Oh heck no! Let's just say that I have entire kitchen cupboard to hold my equipment and DIY supplies, and I still have to store stuff in my livingroom and bedroom endtables. 'Nuff said.

I know what you mean about being more into making than selling. I got into making cane handles when I got to the point of having to use one. Ended up going all out and made 72 of 'em! Several folks said I should sell them, but that takes all of the joy out of the process.

Oh come on, just one? How about a pic of your PVs? Please!!!!

About selling: I agree. It puts a lot of unwanted pressure on me.

Pamdane or Landhew or both: I'd LOVE to see pics of your Great Danes !! I've always wanted one, but I'm disabled and don't know if I could handle a pup that large. I couldn't keep a small dog out here in the forest because a Great Horned Owl or coyote would take a pup first time it went outside alone. I want to see PICS!!
