Thanks for all the compliments on my bracelets. I had a lot of fun making them. It's been awhile since I made one so I don't know if I will get back to it although I still have tons of cord. I thought about making dog collars but I'm more into making than selling so what would I do with them? :( Same with the lanyard idea. Right now my interest/passion is making PV holders out of hardwood. There's something about beautiful wood that draws me like a magnet.

You are very talented!!!

Pamdane or Landhew or both: I'd LOVE to see pics of your Great Danes !! I've always wanted one, but I'm disabled and don't know if I could handle a pup that large. I couldn't keep a small dog out here in the forest because a Great Horned Owl or coyote would take a pup first time it went outside alone. I want to see PICS!!

She has some pics at the end of this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/womens-room/124351-pets.html

Well now you just have me more curious.

I like crocheting better then knitting that blanket did not take me as long as it looks it was about a 5 week project in winter working on it in the evenings in front of the tv. I taught my husbands aunt and she loves it this winter she wants me to teach her the more complicated stitches so far she has all the basics down and shes made quite a few lap blankets

When I found out that it had become necessary for me to use a cane, I went off on a cane handle making binge (tryin' to turn a negative into a positive). The first thing I did was make two part molds of the canes that I first bought that had profiles that I liked. Each of the handles that I created were made in halves, sometimes adding elements in successive layers in polyester resin. Then I joined the halves with epoxy, and coerced my late husband into drilling holes for the hardware. After that, it was a matter of mass quantities of sanding by hand, finishing with fine steel wool and a top coat of polyester resin for shine. I ended up with a collection of 72.
No, I'm not the least bit OCD - lol.

Those are really nice Rave! Have you thought about selling your creations? If I ever need a cane...I know who I am contacting to customize it. :)
Naw - I got seriously burnt out on 'em. It was fun for awhile, but it lost the novelty. Typical of my obsessions.
