I finally just made it all of the way
through this
thread, and WOW! I feel small and insignificant now
Rave, that ba
throom is GORGEOUS! I'm a rockhound too (I thought of majoring in geology before I chose history, I love the study of rocks!), every trip to Colorado makes my collection even larger
There were some others I wanted to comment on, and now I can't remember what they were lol. (I'm having information overload!)
I have done many different kinds of crafts over the years, jewelry making with glass beads, painting with oil (I had a beautiful landscape that I gave my grandmother and she lost it

), crocheting (though I can never get it even, I start blankets that turn into triangles, and I made a pot holder that now retains a curved shape after washing a few times, still works though! I have been working on a baby blanket that's turning out mostly even, but I think I lost a couple of stitches, the bottom is slightly wider.

When my grandmother died mom got all of her crocheting stuff and passed it to me because she sews.). I also do cross-stitching and light sewing (though I'm not good at sewing, I can only make straight lines lol). A project that I'm going to start trying soon is making arm warmers from socks (I'm a HUGE sock/leg/arm warmer fan, I have over 100 pair of knee high to thigh high socks.), really long ones because I prefer the ones that go to the top of my arm, and I want to put thumb holes in the sides on some of them. Before I can start that I have to figure out how to seam the cut edges. I also really want to get into knitting, I've tried before, but it's so much harder than crochet.
Outside of crafting my interests range from video games to reading to computers (I build and maintain my own computers; cars too for that matter). I'm an electronics junkie too, we have so many electronics it's not even funny.
