Once I find an inspiration, it's hard to stop me! I've done a lot of custom orders for my co-workers, I haven't yet been asked to make something that I just couldn't do! Though there were several times I wasn't sure I'd be able to do something that was requested. I've done many arts and crafts over the years, but polymer clay is definitely my favorite! I've made all different kinds of things. I'll see if I can dig up some more pictures later to show you of my custom orders.

I finally just made it all of the way through this thread, and WOW! I feel small and insignificant now :p

Rave, that bathroom is GORGEOUS! I'm a rockhound too (I thought of majoring in geology before I chose history, I love the study of rocks!), every trip to Colorado makes my collection even larger :D

There were some others I wanted to comment on, and now I can't remember what they were lol. (I'm having information overload!)

I have done many different kinds of crafts over the years, jewelry making with glass beads, painting with oil (I had a beautiful landscape that I gave my grandmother and she lost it :(), crocheting (though I can never get it even, I start blankets that turn into triangles, and I made a pot holder that now retains a curved shape after washing a few times, still works though! I have been working on a baby blanket that's turning out mostly even, but I think I lost a couple of stitches, the bottom is slightly wider. :p When my grandmother died mom got all of her crocheting stuff and passed it to me because she sews.). I also do cross-stitching and light sewing (though I'm not good at sewing, I can only make straight lines lol). A project that I'm going to start trying soon is making arm warmers from socks (I'm a HUGE sock/leg/arm warmer fan, I have over 100 pair of knee high to thigh high socks.), really long ones because I prefer the ones that go to the top of my arm, and I want to put thumb holes in the sides on some of them. Before I can start that I have to figure out how to seam the cut edges. I also really want to get into knitting, I've tried before, but it's so much harder than crochet.

Outside of crafting my interests range from video games to reading to computers (I build and maintain my own computers; cars too for that matter). I'm an electronics junkie too, we have so many electronics it's not even funny.

I'm also interested in photography, though my brother is a lot better at it. So I wanted to show you ladies the talent of my family :p This is his flickr account where he posts all of his photos: Flickr: cotmweasel's Photostream If you scroll down a little you will see an album named Christi, he took these pictures for me when I was 37 weeks, 4 days pregnant with my 4th daughter. I always wanted maternity pics, just waited until my last child to have them done! (Couldn't afford them with my other pregnancies, and my brother got good at photography by then). Most of the pictures there are of people he knows, some of them are graduation pictures and some are engagement pics. I think he has some wedding photos as well.

By the way, he doesn't sell his services online or anything, he only really does it for people he knows, so I'm pretty sure I'm not breaking any rules here; but if I am then just feel free to delete this post.

ETA: If you're just going nuts trying to figure out what his screen name means, I can't remember where weasel came from (I think one of his friends called him that), but cotm stands for "Can't Out Talk Me" lol. From the time he learned his first word until he was 16, we couldn't make that boy shut up! He talked to anyone and everyone within hearing! (I'm 5 years older than him, so I well remember all of this :p)

My dad always talked like he was a photographer and he loved doing it, but my brother got all of the talent lol. I need to get him to do some more pics for me soon, those pics are over 18 months old; need some with the new baby!

I have all of these photos printed out and hanging in various parts of my house or carried in my book at work.
