After buying 2 black tanks I no longer want to buy another black because it is much harder to see how much airflow is open in dim light. I do not like when drip tip opening is so tight I cannot fit my Nautilus 2 drip tip... I do not like shiny colorful, slippery mods (Smok style) but have nothing against weird not common tanks (bubble glass etc)... biggest Peeve for me is small type for coil resistance on small screens (I wish I could get rid off voltage and make ohm number as big as wattage. The only reason sometimes I think about buying 2 battery mod is not more battery capacity but bigger screen with bigger resistance reading... but I prefer single battery cell mods.

If you ever want to try a 2 battery mod the voopoo drag has a fairly large ohm reading screen even though the screen itself is kinda small its also pretty crystal clear and very bright

Deeply engraved skulls, dragons, dead animals and the such. I much prefer sleek looks, and mostly plain SS if I can find it. I like color, don't get me wrong, but gawdy just puts me off.

My vaping pet peeve is vapers that are not members of CASAA.
Everyone here is a members of CASAA right?

Guns have NRA - NRA has ^$$$$$$$$$
FDA just got $623M - We have CASAA and they have pathetic membership numbers
CASAA needs members almost as much as they need $$$$

Membership is important (and free) because when CASAA represents us the more members they show that they represent = the size of the voting bloc WE represent

A well regulated mod shall not be infringed.

Pet vaping peeves, non durable equipment. I'm not talking cosmetic but like, if the first time you drop a mod it breaks, well that's an annoyance. Also, tanks with such fragile 510 connections you can hardly ever get the coil to read (I'm talking to you, many joytech CLR coil tanks) ESPECIALLY when you love the COIL. LOL.

I'm no fan of boxy mods either. I don't care how heavy it is, but if the shape makes it actively painful to like, pick UP the mod, I get annoyed. I have small hands and I need to be able to operate my mod without wearing protection bandages.

I don't like mods with clocks that are so hard when it comes to switching out batteries, every time you have to reset the clock, it's annoying. I desperately wanted one and wound up with two but have discovered that like, it's pointless and annoying, not useful (and yes, I know the tricks) I just never NEED them really TBH. I mean, its like, yeah that's a pet peeve mods coupled to odd stuff and they both suck like that waterproof blue tooth speaker that is also a mod, man. I mean.... come on, amount of times I would use that with both functions or EITHER function probably: 0 times.

So yes, I have discovered the uselessness of a mod with a clock, unless I was in solitary confinement and they implausibly allowed me to vape well I'mma gonna reluctantly guess I'd choose one just to pass the time.

Squonkers, but that's a ME thing, I have NO clue how a squonker would work out for me (especially a mechanical one) and while I hear they are GREAT and I love some of my RBAs, well, I also like to mess around with like, flavors all day long. Plus that's just a lot to carry with you although I guess compared to like 4 mods, it isn't.

Closed pod mods. The hate is strong with these, but mainly due to price, hype marketing etc.

Pet Peeves that will potentially prevent me from making a purchase:
1) Bottom Airflow that can lead to leaky tanks
2) Tanks with less than 5ml capacity, total deal breaker. The Revvo cured me of this. Love the flavor but 3.6ml is a real PITA. If available I will order bubble glass to get me to 6,7 or 8ml capacity
3) Manufacturers with a bad history - think SMOK coils, I use SMOK tanks but Vaporesso coils, really like their mesh coils and have some of their ceramic coils in the mail to try
4) Bottom fill tanks
5) Mods that don't provide for user firmware updates
6) Proprietary drip tips, not that I want to change every drip tip I get but if I want to then I want to be able to
7) Anything that doesn't perform as advertised
8) Juice with so much sweetener that it destroys coils in 2 days, let us know if you use a ton of sweetener in the description
9) I also don't like people with deplorable cell phone etiquette

I have been a CASAA member since 2012 and contribute $ here and there, also an NRA Life member

I love the inovation to the most part. I am talking about when a mediocre product gets over hyped and over rated (I blame YouTube for this).

I hope SMOK is listening, great marketing department but engineering and quality departments need to step up their game.

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the cost of smoking and vaping in Alaska?

Vaping costs are not much different than in the lower 48. Shipping costs to AK can be higher than the lower 48. I've never bought from companies in China so I can't speak to those shipping costs.

If your only source of cigarettes is AK purchased then huge difference. I've seen them at $10.00 a pack when I was still smoking. This varies greatly by location. Villages where their only method of receiving supplies is by airplanes with skis is going to be drastically higher than if you are in a big city like Anchorage. You are allowed to bring 2 cartons with you when you travel to AK but I've never known anyone to get caught bringing back more. I'd think more likely to get caught if driving to AK from lower 48 than flying in.

The biggest difference is you don't want to use a metal drip tip outside in the winter.

My main gripe: inconsistent coils. No matter what tank system I use, the coils are always wildly inconsistent from coil to coil. Some last a long time, some burn up in a couple days. It’s annoying that someone can’t come up with a durrible, consistent coil system.

And yes, I know. I can build my own and I do from time to time. But of course builds have their own range of issues.
