what did you smoke before you started vaping?

i smoked mostly menthols for two decades. kool, newport, pall mall. for the duration of my vaping, about five months or so, it's been all fruit flavors. pretty strange. aside from the occasional strawberry bidi, i was never into that sort of stuff. occasionally i add a drop or two of "arctic wolf" from vaporgod when filling my tanks for a cool hint.

When I started smoking, I smoked Newport's. Then in an attempt to save myself switched to Marlboro Mild's once they were released.

Like most vaping "newbs", I attempted to replicate the Marlboro Mild (Blue) taste but have utterly failed. Luckily, after testing many juices, I've been able to find 2 or 3 that I consider all day vapes.

The only thing the same about the cigs that I smoked and the juice that I now vape is the menthol. It's a must have for me!

I started smoking because I loved the smell of fresh tobacco. I smoked Lambert&Butler, a popular brand in the UK for many years.

In the latter years when smoking became prohibitively expensive, I usually smoked whatever was cheapest.

I'm not a huge fan of tobacco flavoured vapes now, but take the notion for some Golden Virginia or some 555 flavoured eliquid from time to time.

Marlboro Lights (gold i guess they are called). Haven't found a juice close to it - and to be honest I really don't want to. Hated the taste - funny huh - smoked em for 25 years. Now I just loving JC Tennessee and Domestic. Wish they would sell it cheaper in larger quantities..

I smoked Camel Lights, but have found a couple of "Turkish" juices that are close enough. The more I vape, the more exotic my tastes become.

Camel Wides - I was a glutton for punishment. I doubt I'll find a juice that matches their flavor, and that's OK.

I smoked Liggett Menthol light 100's. I haven't tried to find one either that is exact I find with vaping there is much more choice in the flavors although I am still into menthol I have found I like dessert and coffee flavors the best. I am new to this whole thing and just found the whole online world of Vaping so will be trying some new flavors the juice I have been getting has been from what I see now to be an overly priced Mall Kiosk vendor LOL. My friend did give me a bottle of Halo Belgian cocoa boy is that some good vaping

Liggett ultra light 100's. Started vaping on a tobacco flavored Mistic kit my wife bought me at Wal-Mart. Since switching to an ego (last week, 3rd week of not smoking) I haven't even considered searching for a tobacco flavored juice of any kind.

Camel Special Lights, then Camel Lights. I like trying different variations of "turkish type tobacco" ejuice that I find around.

Used to rotate between Marlboro Smooths, Camel Menthols, and my favorite, Marlboro 27s. But all I vape now are fruity flavors. TBH I haven't tried any tobacco flavors in the 6 months I've started vaping.

I spent a while looking for a juice that matched the taste, and then one day I had a relapse and actually smoked one. Wow did it taste awful! Search over.

Full flavor Kool kings, there is NO juice in existence that even comes close to Kools, but I have found that menthol juice is the last thing I want to vape. Regular tobacco flavors come closer than any of the menthols I've tried. Weird.

What was I smoking at the time I quit and switched to PVs? Right? 'Cause I smoked a lot of brands over the course of 43 years! I also imbibed in a a little herb in my youth, but never mind that. Okay..so what I had been smoking for around 2 years before I quit was Clipper Menthols. Full strength, 100's.

still smoking... American Spirits (I'm a 505 kid,) damn near EVERY colour, both ryo and pack. Only ciggs that taste "right." Started with those damn swisher sweet little cigarillos moved to camel wides. bounced around a lot, probably smoked nearly every brand available in the 505 even Pharos!?! Disgusting stuff man...

Marlboro reds don't miss them very often. I am not a fan of the tobacco flavor juices. I prob would have went back to analogs if it weren't for the wide variety and flavors of the juices out there.
