The big juice sites that is. Do they use the same flavoring sites that we have access to? Do they extract the flavors themselves? I was hoping for some insight on this. If we actually have the power to recreate the famous juices out there. We just have to figure out the right flavorings etc.

Most of your premixed juice is a combo of the same flavors we all have access to, but they will use any number of manufactures flavors to create one of their own. For instance they may use Capellas vanilla, and FA coffee, and Perfumers Apprentice apple, to create one flavor. They also have their lil secrets, like apple vinager, lemon juice, ect. I myself believe you can recreate almost any juice, but some vendors are darn near chemists, and know so much that my guessing is probably pretty far off. Maybe some DIY experts can give you more info, but at least this is a start.

I'll just say that my DIY 'batting average' is better than all da vendors jooses I've tried...

BTW, lemon joose and apple cider vinegar are my DIY buddies!

I appreciate the input carnal. I've only been making unflavored as of yet really. I vape unflavored 50 percent of the time. I'm going to delve into making some flavored soon. Probably the recipes on here will help. I just want to replicate some expensive juices lol.

First off, Hoosier is my DIY hero! I'm just a simple guy making simple jooses.

But, I do like to use lemon juice for fruit/'lite' flavors; apple cider vinegar for dessert/specialty jooses. I normally use one drop per 3ml, sometimes two drops.

Since I don't vape 'bakky flavs, can't help ya out there.

Guru...

Ow yeah, I tried to make some stuff and followed some recipes from others ... almost gave up. But then I started to just tried coming up with my own recipes, and worked out alot better for me. Now a recipe might be a good thing for flavors that mix well together, it might work for some, it might not work for others

Actually I don't understand why anyone would want to aim so low as to duplicate "the big guys" juice. I can count on one hand the pre-mixed flavors that a vendor makes as good or better than what I make and have fingers left over. Quite simply, the vast majority tastes like crap to me. Making crap tasting juice is easy.

So, one will find a complete lack of care from me when it comes to duplicating a vendor's recipe. Mine are better, cheaper, and, best of all, vape exactly like I like with the perfect nic level for my mood.

If I come across as a pampas ......, that's unfortunate, but it is how I look at mixing. (I've never wanted to go into the business because I don't want to make a hobby I enjoy into a job. I've made that mistake before...)

There is truly only one blend that I wish to duplicate. I have already created blends to mimic other flavors that I've enjoyed, and yes, for the most part I'll agree that one can create flavors a great deal better than most vendor's blends. This is simply because no one can make what you like better than you, given the time and resources, of course.

Not that it matters, which it doesn't, but yes, Hoosier, I have read some of your posts that make me think you're a little conceited. However, you are also an asset to the DIY world, and have helped many, including myself, so I choose to ignore the pompous replies. (Honestly, who really can tell how someone is conveying a message through text anyhow?)

i only bothered to spend money on juice from a vendor once in my life.. and that was it.. because i found DIY and said "oh screw this , ill make my own" and i knew i would mix better juices eventually. of course thanks to hoosier and str8v8ping.. i have learned alot.. everything i need actually...

so thanks hoosier.. and if str8v8ping was chilling more on this forum rather than nu-vapor... i would say thanks to him also.. i hope hes doing alright with the issues over there in new jersey. anyways.. i DO want to taste some vendors juices out there.. but i dont feel confortable paying 10 bucks for a 5ml bottle of mediocre juice.

about mimicking a vendors juice,

why not? why not try to mimic a vendors juice? its fun... its fun to try and figure it out.. the whole process the investigation the mixing.. experimenting all that stuff is fun... and then theres this part.. you find out what they put in it.. and say " what the hell, i can make this juice taste even better" or once the vendor finds out their juice has been hacked and the identity of the juice has been leaked.. they will try to make it better.. then people might be spending their money on more quality juices.. some people might even find out that they have been being lied to with that fact that.. maybe the vendor you adore so much actually isnt making any "organic" juice at all.. like they claim they are. wouldnt it piss you off if you were one of those people that strictly vape organic juices suddenly find out they you actually have been being lied to??
i would be a little agitated.. (false advertisement ) <---- just another reason to DIY.. i understand that you cant just put your ingredients out there like that with a popular juice (if your a vendor) but dont lie..
