What do you do for a living? And how does you place of business take to your PV?

Self-employed small businessman. VERY small. Now a part time student looking for a field with better employment prospects. Upside is, can't afford employees anyway so no one to complain, except the landlord - and he hasn't had an issue with it. I don't vape when clients are in the office - it's not a violation of smoke-free workplace laws (even if it was "smoke") since I have no employees, but I'd rather not deal with having to explain that fact to the city code enforcement nazis anyway.

Uh.. anyone hiring? :D

I used to work in a call center for a bank. When I started vaping, two of my teammates (the other two hardest-core smokers) were fascinated by it and soon followed my lead.

Our team supervisor was super cool - we were asked to provide some info and documentation, then the sup took it to the dept head and got clearance for us to vape at our desks :D

I start a new job next week, so I'll have to see if there's a pre-existing vaping culture there and what I can do to start one if not!

I work for a REALLY BIG airplane company as an Experimental Flight Test Lead Mechanic. The company recently instituted a no smoking policy company wide on all of it's propertys. I'm pretty cool about where and when I vape, and I haven't gotten any flack about it yet, but like I said, I'm careful about when and where I vape. No need to rock the boat. My boss sees me vaping all the time, but hasn't asked me about it yet. I don't think he has a clue whats going on, and I don't have any intention of telling him.
Take it for what it's worth!!!

I am a Drug Prevention Specialist/Program Coordinator. Most of my time is spent in the classrooms of local schools and I don't vape on school property. But when I am at the office I vape at my desk and my boss and co-workers are fine with it. I am working on converting my co-worker/girlfriend from a smoker to a vaper. She has tried my SideSho a few times and really liked it. I just ordered a 510 so I am going to pass the SideSho along to her. Hopefully she can make the switch.

I multi-task :)

I'm a nurse too :) I left the hospital/doctor's office environment and I mainly do home-health and patient advocacy now. I don't vape around patients or clients. I do vape in some meetings and nobody has had a problem so far. I've also vaped in meetings at court-houses (not courtrooms lol) and it's been amusing to a lot of people and has also generated a lot of interest.

I work a lot from home now - *bonus*! I get to chain vape :)

I'm also a musician (no prob vaping at rehearsals, in studios, etc.) and I'm a photographer for a big music school. I don't vape around parents or students (strict image policy at the school) - and I don't vape at my photo shoots for the music school. I do sneak away and vape in bathrooms though :)

I do band (and live music) photography also, and if I do a band shoot - no problems vaping around other musicians. I've vaped at gigs, in clubs and bars.

If I do a portrait shoot, my studio is in my house - so I always use discretion. If it's kids, I refrain.

I just like to be respectful of the situations and environments I'm in and of the different people I'm around.

I work in the warehouse office in a fair sized juice factory. The bosses and other employees are fine with me vaping at my desk. If any of the corporate or plant muckeemucks were to come over I probably wouldn't let them know about it...not sure though. I know the CEO and could probably talk to him and I think it would be fine. I've been there over 32 years so I otta own half the place by now!!!:D

My boss lets me vape in the backroom or in the store as long as there are no little kids around, But rarily do i have time to think about vaping or smoking for that matter, just too busy for the most of the time.

I work in the headwear distribution center of the Sports liscense Division of Reebok/Adidas. All the hats you see during NFL, NHL and NBA games. Needless to say, I have a lifetime supply of hats.. lol.. I get away with vaping almost anywhere in the building I want (my boss is fine with it) as long as I still go outside and vape on breaks with the stinky analog smokers to "keep it real" as he puts it. "keep it real" is his way of saying "this way they won't know you're doing IN the building"...lol

I own a retail store downtown and my (2) employees are cool with it. I keep my passthrough plugged in all day while I work. If I'm working on the computer, I'm usually vaping, but I still keep it discrete. We had a very, very cold December and it was sweet to not have to run outside to smoke.

From time to time, a customer will notice what I'm doing and I'll lay it all out for them. So far, everyone has been very supportive and no complaints. No converts yet, but I'm pretty low key.

I own my own retail store as well. That is WHY I own my own place of business. It is MY business what I do, when I do it and bite me if you don't like it!

When I was still using tobacco I would go outside the store to smoke. I would come inside afterwards and particularly women with enough perfume on to choke a horse would tell me how bad I smelled.

Now I vape right in the store and no one has ever said they have smelled anything (except that last blue haired lady that just left, now she stank!!!).

I don't have a "real" job like you guys - Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant to pay my way through grad school. Research is mostly at home so vaping there's not an issue (puppy is happy I don't go outside all the time though). I vape before and after class and classmates and prof. are on the same page. I vape at the end of review sessions I hold for part-time MBA students, after asking (they all have cool, high-powered jobs and somehow find the time to get an MBA on the weekend). Got some interest in PV's from some of my students who are smokers actually :)

I make a living playing in bands and selling guitars and equipment. I have a small business but mostly I'm home or at the studio or the bars. The bars are the only possible problem as they have banned smoking and it kicks in soon. I did play a benifit in a non smoking building (a church wedding hall) I went outside to vape as I didn't want to offend anyone.

Architect. Just started vaping a week ago, and completely quit analogs the same day I started vaping. I had told my coworkers that I would be quitting soon with the help of an e-cigarette, and they were excited for me - on Friday I had to stay late with my team for a deadline, and they asked me to vape at my desk for a laugh - the image of someone smoking in the office was hilarious for everyone. So overall, very supportive.

I'm a CNC operator, making seals/gaskets/etc for the automotive industry. I keep my 510 in my pocket and pull it out to stealth vape on the job. I've shown it to 2 of the supervisors and they thought it was cool...didn't say I couldn't use it..and I never asked if I could. We went tobacco free LAST January, but they aren't really strict on enforcing it as long as people aren't being stupid about it and putting their smokes out on the ground. I vape in the break room and nobody has said anything other than "man, it's SO weird to see you doing that in the building" LOL!
