Good question! I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't been using clearomizers for all that long, and I've been curious about that.

Personally, I think that I'm kind of over-the-top with my coil/tank cleaning, and I throw out the last 0.6-0.8 mL of a full tank about half the time. If it's a lighter liquid, I'll top it off a few times before I go for the bottom. The only juice I have that I'm comfortable going for a few tanks in a row is MBV's Berry Creamy. I like a lot of darker ones, and they don't fair that well being re-filled a few times. Especially Halo's Cafe Mocha. That's my favorite flavor, but it starts to look like motor oil faster than my others.

But I'll also say this: I've never had a problem topping off over and over. I just don't like the looks of it, and it seems like it's begging to cause a problem.

Yeah Cafe Mocha and Belgian Cocoa are very similar. Cocoa is my favorite and I top it off, but around day two the tanks needs a bath. Psychologically I can't reuse it because it reminds me of food that has been in the refrigerator too long. It does look pretty gross. LOL

I cleaned a "tiki tank" yesterday and the color was very dark from the contents of the original bottle. The bottle only had enough for about one refill, so I just threw the old juice in with it. But now in the new tank "the blend" taste bland.

You just made me clean a Triton tank for the first time. It's my most used tank... topped off at least once per day and power-vaped for a week. The juice looked like used motor oil with the viscosity of cold pancake syrup. It still tasted yummy and performed excellent though. It was down to .4 ml so I didn't feel bad rinsing it down the sink. :D

I vape 0 nic Tribeca, daily. For those familiar, Tribeca @0 is completely clear.

My wicks got so dirty, that the caramelized e-liquid would leech back into the tank, turning my e-juice a darker shade that Tribeca @12 (which I used to vape).

Tribeca flavors aren't terribly affected, but Southern Classic becomes seriously muted, and the vapor clouds aren't as big.

So keep your gear clean! :vapor:

You can always dilute thick liquids with a drop of water; it really doesn't take a lot.

Now I'm curious to see how those who know answer this.....

I thought I read somewhere that people use distilled water or vodka to thin out thick liquid.....

I keep a bottle of Halo's Fusion around; it is their flavorless base. If I have a tank that is still wicking like a champ, but the juice is thick, I add some Fusion and more e-juice, shake and vape.
