What ECF means to me....
I love the 'community'. This is the place I turned to when I quit smoking and started vaping.
I has been my source of knowledge, but more importantly...my source of inspiration !
When you are a new Vaper...there is this 'flood' of information...mods, clearos, VV/VW, PG and VG....
And you are trying to make this 'vaping Thing' work...cuz it seems to be working for so many other people.
But, you have tried to quit before (insert number) times...and there is that little nagging devil in your head that says...
'vaping...Vaping...maybe it's not real...maybe it won't work for you...you know you failed before....'
You are looking for some real info, some real person who has done it, and will talk you through it....a vape buddy.
So, you look around the web...lots of vape sites...but they all look like the stuff you've seen before...
Immature trash talking people-flaming at each other, cursing and threating, one upping...no serious discussion of the topic at hand.
Not to helpful...and if there is true information in there, I would not find it...because I will not join into a rant with a bunch of fools !
So...you lurk on ECF for awhile, taking in some knowledge and tips-and while learning, you see that THIS FORUM is different, it fits in with what you believe civil behavior should be. There is a TON of knowledge in ECF and the lives of some it's long time members....
And the difference is that they share it freely, from those who help the new Vapers out- answering questions...for the hundreth time...to the seasoned veterans, still answering questions and showing that this 'Vaping Thing' is not just some fad...it works- long term.
And yes...I have met some super awesome people on ECF...who I never would have met in real life...but I now consider my friends....

ECF...it's a wonderful forum for talking Vaping....sharing successes and failures, becoming a better Vaper....and for Karma- a better person !

Thank you DJ, I count you among my friends as well, you are one of the 'cream of the crop' in my eyes!!! That was a wonderful, glowing review you've done and I have seen it all here, everything you said is the absolute truth!!!
I'm an old Cowdog. I really appreciate that ECF is G-rated.
I also appreciate the positive attitude around here. Folks are encouraging one another. It teaches me to be encouraging to others.

i agree, this is a wonderful place. enjoy this forum immensely....and it keeps growing with more interesting. a great source of support for many.
What they said. I wish I was good with words. This place has been more friendly to me than where I live. Moved away from here for a year and not 1 person I "know" said hi when we moved back. But here folks wonder where you are if your gone for a bit. I've learned a lot here but more than that I've made some real friends. And hope to make many more.
What ECF means to me is hard to put into type. This is the first forum of any kind that I have even looked at let alone subscribed 2. I found ECF in my quest to replace a mall e cig..I have never found a more overwhelming place in my life..I was so lost at first, but kept coming back and reading and getting the overhead lightbulb thing. I know this sounds weird but ECF has made me a better person..I am more giving and social in all aspects of my life. I have never been more accepted for who I am than here! Like others, I have made greats friends, stayed off analogs, helped others to get off analogs...all because of this place. Who could ask for more..
We all unify because we are the social misfits known as vapers, we break new ground.
Because we do not huff and puff climbing stairs, don't burn holes in our clothing and we don't stink up those around us. We also do our part to keep health care costs down.
If this makes me a misfit thats ok.

We fight together for a common good. There are democrats, republicans, independents and all other political affiliations all mixed up into one giant melting pot. We are black, white, asian, hispanic and everything in between. We are homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual. We are Christians, Buddists, Jewish, and all other religions. We are ONE and we are here to learn but also to fight for our rights as vapers. I said once before that ECF isn't going to be leveled by the storm when it all comes to a head...ECF IS THE STORM that big pharma and big tobacco and special interest groups and ANTZ needs to run and hide from because like it or not, WE ARE COMING by the millions, WE ARE COMING!

ECF... Well, it has become a second home. I've been on, and managed, a few forums in my time. Heck I even had my own BBS at one time. The one thing that keeps a forum going is the people that are active. ECF more so than most. Information is freely given, ideas are shared, support is offered and gladly accepted. No one knocks anyone down. The Mods keep an watchful, unintrusive eye on things and keep things clean.
Keeping things clean... I like that and it is my toughest challenge. Marines have a reputation on swearing. Heck sometimes it comes out of my mouth before I can stop it.
So I review my posts a lot before I submit them. I sure do not want to offend this bunch of great people.I'm gaining friends here. I don't give my friendship easily. You earn it in some manner or another. One friend earned it by the way she freely gives her heart out. So I wasn't surprised when I saw that Angel started the thread.
I'd like to thank all of you for putting up with me.

I love ECF because the members are so welcoming and patient with newbies. Being relatively new to vaping, it didn't feel like the first awkward day of high school when I first started posting. This place is a wealth of information and advice!
This place is a wealth of information and advice!Since I started vaping and joined ecf, there has not been a day that I haven't got on to read new posts or research a question I may have had. The support from members, the vast knowledge that can be obtained on all vaping subjects. The support from CASAA. The feeling that you have a big brother or sister to watch over and support you on your journey. Priceless! Thank you ECF.
