I was an extremely casual smoker (3-5 cigarettes/week) until I went through a nasty breakup that left me with many long, lonely nights filled with whiskey and cigarettes. Eventually, I developed a social life and quickly realized that smoking was no longer considered cool amongst people my age. I was shocked; smoking was how I made friends in college and, now, everyone was suddenly concerned with appearing youthful and healthy. So, I joined a support group at work, but felt like my heart just wasn't into quitting. Until I met a girl. . .she was tolerant of my smoking and understood that, if I was going to quit, it needed to be on my terms. One of her friends was a vaper and tried to give me some leaky pink thing that smelled like bubblegum. Needless to say, I was not interested :glare: It did, however, get me thinking. . .after about two months of going back and forth with the idea, I bit the bullet and bought a disposable (blu). It sucked, but I remained hopeful after smoking my first analog afterwards and realizing the difference. I ordered an 808 (SI's Volt) and feel like vaping is winning me over a little more every day. I'm completely off analogs and my girlfriend couldn't be happier with the change. Oh! and I love that I don't have to stand out in 100+ degree weather anymore while out at my favorite bar.

About 2 years ago my fiance and I went into a smoke shop in Andersonville area of Chicago and bought a starter kit for some small 808 ecig with a $25 box of cartos. Didn't really work that well. Sold it to a neighbor a month or so ago for $40. Decided we should research getting the fiance a better ecig that he might stick to. Found ECF and some good reviews on ego twist batteries and went that route. Just ordered a Provari this week. We're at over 3 weeks of vaping and no cigarettes.

John loves that he can vape inside and not have to go outside because of our 2 year old. Nor will he have to endure the cold Chicago winter outside in the snow either.

I started 2 days ago, so still very new :D

My first kit is a Tornado-T (white) from TW..... I LOVE it :D

The reason I started (and quited the analogs) was because I got tired of analog cigarettes... simple as that :p But I couldn´t stop completely, so I turned to e-cigs after recommendation from my father who´s using e-cigs aswell.....

I started off just trying vaping to get off analogs. I first purchased an EGO-T set. That did me good for a week or two, then after some wrong cleanings on it, I was getting really chemically hits off it from cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. That turned me off of vaping for a year. Then after a few friends let me try their modded J tanks I thought "Ok I could get used to this" but never had the courage to drop another 150 on a kit since my EGO experience. Then like a light shining from above I have a friend tell me about how some kids dine-and-dashed while she was waitressing, so she got stuck paying their $40 bill. But they left behind an e-cig. She was a non smoker so she had no need for it. I get all the details on the mod. I do a little looking around on the net as well as ask some avid vapers I work with what their thoughts are on it. All I hear is positive feedback about it. Knowing I will have to put more money in it, I decide to give her a low ball price and offer $75 bucks for the whole thing. She accepts, and now I am the proud owner of a Provari Mini for less than half price. I am kind of a germ-a-phob so I wanted to replace everything else. But even after buying my first set of juice, charger, extra battery, and a delrin tank. I have a glorious setup, all for about $125. Ive now had it for 2 days, cuz my analog smoking in 1/4th, and not looking back to those damn things!

for me it was the price of analogs, Scott igetcha69, and grimmgreen. I credit the eGo-t for gettting me to quit, as I tried a 510 manual switch with no joy. the eGo-t combined battery life with a "hassel free" drip/feeding system. At the time I thought it was perfection. Untill I saw grimmgreen talking the vape-o-matic carto tank. I have been vaping carto tanks ever since.

My sister recently got a kit, I tried it and liked it so she gave me an old Fifty-One trio set she had in her closet. I'm still using analogs, have only used the set she gave me a few times, the cartridges are either expired or just don't taste very good. I wanted to find out more and ended up here. I've been reading non stop for days and I'm really excited to get started. I have some e liquid on the way, I figure that'll hold me over until I can decide on a starter kit.

I got into vaping because of my cousin telling me about it. We are both heavy smokers of Back Woods Honey berries. him much more than me. He had spent hours and hours researching vaping and settled on the ego c twist. He started with all of the cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, drip tips etc... since he was having good luck with it he told me all about it and let me try a few vapes. I immediately knew that vaping was something I should try. I'm 38 years old and I feel like crap after walking up a flight of steps or doing anything even a little strenuous. So to get off the honey berries, get healthy and hopefully save some money in the process I ordered all the stuff that he told me he got and even though My initial investment was over $300. (including all the juice I ordered) I can say at this point it was a good decision. Its been 6 days since I bought honey berries. So far I've saved about $80. so Im already recouping my investment. I can smell things better, I can breath a little bit better and who knows... Maybe I'll live a little longer too.

Since I'm so new to vaping, I thought it would be interesting to start sort of a video diary of my daily experiences. Ive already posted some videos on YouTube. Ive mainly reviewed juices but also did a juice unboxing. I plan on putting up some videos of first times. like first time with a clearomizer, a tank... etc..

If anyone wants to check out my videos Search for me. Im Jinglethejuiceman on YouTube.
I try to mix it up a little and add a little humor to my videos. I hope you find them entertaining. I enjoyed making them and hope that in the long run once I start to post my "instructional videos people will find them helpful at the same time.

I first saw an ad for the Blu cigs. I never bought a Blu (which is what I hear a lot), but the ad was so intriguing I started to do research. I started with a 306-style PV, graduated up to a 901 then a Riva. After those first three I tried a billion more it seems but I honestly still like the 306 the best, it works for me :)
