Have you tried strictly dripping with your rn4081?

I tried this on one of my older models and I was AMAZED..

Unbelievable throat hit sand vapor production ;-)
Agreed, although I still use my 510 all the time.

But the RN4081 is great for dripping, with that big, wide atomizer bridge.
And I get a much easier draw with more vapor and flavor that way.

And then to make the draw even easier, I bored out the mouthpiece to make the hole bigger.

I don't think you can compare draw on units without considering manual or automatic battery.
My 901 draws great, when the battery isn't acting up. On a box mod it does well but doesn't wick like my 401 or 4081. It's easier to top off... The 801 is probably the more consistant draw, but I have never used it on a batt, only on a box mod, so I can't compare it.
They all have issues. So Ididn't vote

This sure is a lousy list of PV's. There is only one good one on there, the 510. How about making a list of the PV's with the most problems? The RN4081/Smoke Everywhere would lead the list of problem PV's (except for the Blu which would be first among POS PV's.). Some newbie is going to read this and think that auto switch PV's are just great when the experienced vapers on this forum know that is not the case. Stick with the manual PV's such as the 510, manual 901 or 801 or the premiere PV's so you won't be frustrated and just give up.

The people voting for the 510 have never tried an 801. I'm sorry. The 801 has a much easier draw, and alot more vapor than the 510. This poll is going to be horribly skewed because of the 510's popularity. You might as well ask on a Ford Mustang forum what car is faster, the Mustang or the Corvette.

That is SO true. When I first got my 510 I expected it to create a cloud the way people talk here. The 510 does make a little more vapor than the 901, but the 801 is an industrial fog machine compared to the 510.

One note: The high-bridge 801 attys (true 801) have a much lighter draw than the low-bridge (RN version) attys. Both make massive vapor.

Here is one thing to consider... size. I originally bought my 401 because it had good reviews and cause on the smaller end. It may be just me, but being a man, I feel like the 801 and 901 are a bit to "long" for me and look quite feminine. When I originally started looking, I immediately discounted those two models because, to me of course, it looked like those cigarette holders the old rich women would smoke. Like the mom from the Adams Family, I believe. (Sorry, could not come up with a better visual) So I chose the 401 because it was more discreet and seemed more like a real cigarette. With that being said, I am looking to try something new. I am thinking the 510 because, like the 401, it looks more like the size of a real cigarette, and to me, that still matters. Personally, I would feel totally self-conscience about pulling out a 801 or 901 in public situations and not so much the 510. I know this was kinda off topic, but this really is playing a part in my decision for a new toy :) Oh, and the 510 has the PCC, whichI am really looking forward to. Not sure if there is one for the 801 or 901, but those are really cool for someone who just carries loose pieces in their shirt pocket all day...

I'm just curious to what you guys have tested and found to be the EASIEST draw and MOST vapor.

Please vote on the poll. I know there is many, many more mods available. I just am curious as to what the consensus is for the most popular.

And by easiest draw, I mean almost effortlessly.

Old post, but still fun.

Not all of the models I've tried are in the poll. So just for the fun of it. Here's my complete list so far [I think this is all of them]...

4081-auto and manual rig
084-auto
510-regular manual and manual mod
808-manual mod

901-manual
801-manual
401-auto

701-cigar
601-pipe

Those last two I'm not counting, because 1) they're not e-cigs and 2) wouldn't be fair. Besides, I don't own them, just tried them from somebody else. They were fun though. They're the next closest thing to a party fog machine... LOL... expensive too, as I recall.

Also, the 901, 801, and 401 I don't own, only tried them from somebody else. But I do remember their performance, which SUX, that's why I didn't buy them. But if I had the time to tinker with them, I'm sure I could've optimized those to make them better.

Also notice that the majority of them are manual styles. I hate auto bats. They make me want to throw them at somebody. A manual bat gives more control with the burn time which also allows you to clean the atomizer with a good burn-off. It took me awhile to figure this out, but using other cleaning methods is a waste of time and can actually do more damage than good.

As for the first four (4081, 084, 510, 808), I have owned and tested them in various ways with different liquids, batteries, and cart overhauls.

The 4081 is the same thing as the SE Gold edition. It did an okay job. Air flow wasn't all that great. Vapor was noticeable, but could use some more work. I hated the small cart capacity, so I mostly drip-vaped on them. I gave one atomizer a tune-up by connecting it to a manual 510 passthru mod (can control volts from 3.5 to ~4.7, and control amps from 0.36 to ~1.72... and no it's not connected to a computer). I finally got the vapor production I was looking for on the 4081. That was fun.

The 084 is the same thing as the epuffer super mini. That thing was a big joke and a waste of money. The draw was sort of okay, but the vapor production royally sucked big time. No matter what I did to it, it just wouldn't put out. The only thing it had going for it was it's cute size. Needless to say it's laying in a landfill somewhere in about 15 pieces. Saved the charger though for a future project.

The 808 is not such a great thing either. I wound up getting an adapter to connect the cartomizer to a manual 510 battery. On top of that I had to mod the adapter to improve the air flow. That thing was like sucking a watermelon through a garden hose, so I had to do something. I finally started getting some noticeable vapor, but it still wasn't all that great, so I hooked it up to my 510 passthru mod. Finally, after using a different liquid and giving it a primer puff it started putting some better vapor out. Still nothing to write home about, but it's getting the job done. The only thing the 808 has going for it is it's large cart capacity. I took one completely apart (instantly destroyed) and found out what the problem is... it's a cheap coil in a vertical configuration... NOT GOOD!

Now, while trying out the units mentioned above, I was switching back and forth to a 510 so I could get a decent hit. I didn't realize it until just now what I was doing. I was trying to get those units to perform like a 510. I thought I could get at least one of them to do the same job, or maybe even better. But no dice there man. I have yet to find a unit that can out draw, out vapor, out taste, and out last a 510.

510 ROCKS!
