You need to learn about Ohm's Law. E=IR (Voltage = Current x Resistance). That means V/R=Amps. If the V and R are fixed, so is the amps. As long as the battery can support the amp load, adding more batteries does nothing to increase current to the load. It only splits the current load among the batteries reducing battery drain. V or R must be changed to adjust Current. With fixed batt voltage there is only one option left.

I think you misunderstood my post. I did not say parallel increased the current load only the max load it COULD carry.

You are absolutely correct, Plumber... I misspoke. It would, indeed increase the amperage rating of the batteries and is a bad idea for the reasons you stated... it is the voltage that would not increase.
Serial configuration increases voltage but retains same current limits. (8.4v with 30A limit for serial VTC5s for instance)
Parallel configuration increases current limits but retains the same voltage output. (4.2v with 60A limit for parallel VTC5s using the same instance)

I stand corrected and thank you for pointing it out for me. :)

*Edit*
Either case... serial or parallel is still a bad idea in my opinion...

Wasn't my intent to correct you personally Kaezziel, just trying to convey to others that the current is theoretically split between batteries under ideal conditions. However, when things go wrong and your batteries are not individually fused you now have two powder kegs.

Put a 12 volt fog machine in a 15" I.D. PVC pipe by say 24" in length and run it off a 12v camping battery. Mount a nitrous oxide style switch to the PVC and drill some vent holes near the battery and SEAL R' UP with some caps and Rain or Shine PVC glue.

Paint it aluminum and choke one end down to 2" for pulls then take 1st!

Don't worry about it, man... we're good... I didn't really think things through on that original response, so your correction is truly appreciated. I took nothing personally from your answer. :)

Most cloud comps do not allow 26650 mods, stacking batteries, or box mods.

Seems silly to have rules for something like this. They are turning cloud comps into the nascar of the vaping world. If you lose to someone with a bigger engine, you should have brought a bigger engine.

what are you guys thoughts on the V3 Flip?

someone i know bought the 24k gold plated one and between the v3 and my copper nemesis they both hit equally the same or i just cant tell the difference in performance between the two. the v3 looks so so good but i dont know if $400 is worth it for a mech unless you really want that look

i think it just keeps the playing field level. unless some idiot would buy like 4 nemesis 18650 tubes and stack 4 batterys

What sort of prizes do you get for these things? Flat-billed caps and such? Does Blu sponsor any of them?

I always thought it was because if you were able to establish dominance by blowing the biggest clouds, you got to mate with all of the females. Now I find out you get a cool hat as well! Sign me up!

I think we've pretty decisively hijacked this thread ;)

I kind of like Capaldi as the doctor, but Clara continues to be an annoyance. At least they seem to be acknowledging that she's not the perfect little snowflake this season, and towards the end of the last season. David Tennant remains my favorite of the new doctors, by a thin margin over Matt Smith, but Tom Baker is still the best doctor of all time, IMO.

I agree! Baker was a legend! Though maybe it's just because that's kinda the doctor I grew up with and all the others were just in reruns... When Tennant came along in the new ones he very quickly became my favorite. When Smith came I remember thinking I wasn't going to like him, but he quickly became a great. This one I'm not so sure about, but maybe like Smith he'll fall into place well. At least we have a whole new set of lives to go through now.

I think adding a competitive component to cloud chassing paints the vaping community in a bad light, if not putting us ALL in danger of more regulations. Peeps could simply avoid the rhetoric from the other side by mearly describing them as "displays". I wont go in to the maturity aspect of those demanding compitions because the other side would have a feild day with it. But they do seem a bit imature to me in a endevor that requires the most absolute of sane thinking in the currant envoirment.
No speel checker on mobile so get over it. :+)
