I've been on a minimalistic track for quite a while, but when it comes to vaping equipment I'm not. And after watching one of my usual videos I usually end up saying "I have too much vaping equipment".
If I had to do it all over again, it would be the rule of three:
2 single coil RTAs
1 dual coil RTA
2 single battery mods
1 dual battery mod
1 BF mod with 2 single coil attys
1 AIO rig (a Billet box with a couple of tanks and rebuildables).

What would be your bare minimum?

Damn I may need to rethink my game

The main vape vault is back at the sticks and brick home, lots of vape gear there, I mean lots.

Currently I'm spending time in my motorhome, away from the comfort of the main vault. Here with me in the motorhome the auxiliary vape vault has 23 sub ohm tanks, 12 mods - 9 dual battery, 3 single battery.

What you may find even worse is my traveling vape kit for use when flying or where I will be away from the security of the vape vault for more than a couple days

Standard vape setup 2 mods with tanks in my shirt pockets ready to vape.

The Kit in my laptop/carry on bag
Spare dual battery mod
4 spare tanks - 2 manufacturers
4 spare glass tubes with o-rings
Assorted vape bands
14 spare drop in coils - 2 manufacturers
4 spare 18650 batteries
2 different usb cables for firmware updates on the fly

One REO (SL/LP)
One RDA - BF'ed
One RTA, Spheroid/Tilemahos (steel tank)
a few batteries and a charger
Some 26/28/30 AWG wire, K-1/SS/NiChrome
Wick, Rayon first, then any cotton will do.
PG/VG and some flavours, I'm stockpiled with NIC until 2025 or so.
Nail clippers, a small screw driver and some sharp scissors.
Something to check resistance (DMM or regulated device)
3-5 different drip tips to suit my mood. Narrow to wide open.

Cheers

My understanding of the word minimum accords with my current vaping setup. 2 x regulated batteries with USB charging - I long ago got cheesed off with the removable 18650 and separate charger nonsense - and two run of the mill clearos. Having been there and done that with snipping wires and forming coils I could hardly even see, I'm more or less settled now with Kanger Genitank Mega clearos on 30W iSticks running at 12W. That's a minimal minimum, I think, but suits me quite well.

My minimum hardware would be two regulated mods with external batteries and two atomizers. Past that, you have to have batteries, a charger, an ohmmeter, wire, etc. That's where the pile starts to build.

I could live with one iStick and one atty for a while ... until one broke. :)

It all seems pointless considering that yesterday when I started to clean up and sort out my vape cabinet there was hardware going back to 2010, most of which still worked. Once you have it, it's there for the long haul. I still have my Joye 510 and my eGo (my first vapes). I found several boxes of coils for each that still looked to be fine.

"If i had to do it all over again".

I'd need some pretty strong e liquid. Just to clarify, the point of the stronger e liquid would be because i'd be using little cig-a-like batteries along with 401 atomizers.

Back when i was using cig-a-likes i'd be vaping 45mg's and it was barely satisfying. If D.I.Y had occured to me then, i'd probably have been making up 60mg's per mil. Just an estimate, but i expect that would work perfectly.

I just liked how, in particular, the chromed cig-a-like looked.

The convenience of just being able to slip it into my pocket, and the convenience of the form factor. It's light and easy to handle and in total contrast to today's bulky devices.

So a couple of dozen batteries, atomizers and e liquid cartridges would be my bare minimum in my arsenal. For out and about, maybe half a dozen ready to go sitting in my pocket.

If we're talking about on the go here, i always keep it simple :
1 mod/squonker
1 rda of choice (be it Drop or Recurve)
2 batteries (or set of
If i go out somewhere else than work, i might bring another 18650 or 20700 cell with my pulse in case but i haven't needed a 3rd battery yet in a single day

Finally i also bring 1 bottle of ejuice (unless it's about empty then 1 more for the road)

This is what I take to work every day-

Ijoy Diamond/Drip rda
Smoke Alien/Dead Rabbit rda
H cigar Aurora/Pulse 22 rda
Admiral Mech/Bonza rda
Innokin Cool Fire Plus/Siren V2
Smok X Priv/Smok Prince rta
Innokin Cool Fire/Nautilas 2

So I’m guessing this is my minimum
Just curious. How many of those setups do you actually vape EVERY day?

I don't believe in minimums! I believe ever hour should be happy hour! I believe in... stuff! New and old, I'm also a hoarder! The husband throws things away behind my back and mostly I don't even notice! (It's not to path people proportions or anything, but it could be better!)

This is why I belong to so many anonymous groups and like, also, am always battling to reduce SOMETHING.

At the moment it's Ricolas, those are getting a bit out of hand and it's a cold and lonely battle, lemme tell you. I mean, even Overeaters Anonymous would laugh in my face if I showed up there. Etc. Like the Gluten Intolerant, my war is lonely, and finding "Healthier Ricola Substitutes is like difficult."

So I have 14 mods I use every day (if I leave the house I only take 3 or 4 but I miss my other mods, to be fair) so I guess 3 or 4 would be my bare minimum. I guess.

But I've got far worse things to worry about than my number of setups, like not buying MORE, and also the Ricolas.
