I'd be willing to come over and teach him.Yeah, he really needs to understand that life is not fair.
My going rate is $100/hour, plus expenses of course.
This is going to be my new profession when I retire.
Thanks for the idea!

This is all great advice! Last night we all sat down and talked. He's kind of easing up on it now. He's not 100%. So far the vaping in my room, & when he's not here is the one that's sticking right now. He is pretty immature, but if you nag him constantly, he starts to get tired of it, & give in. It took us 5 months, constant nagging, to finally get him to train his dog not to pee, or rip up our clothing. I think in time, and patience i might get him to be 100% OK with me vaping inside. He's just one of those kids who had everything in his life, and expects it to be the same as an adult. Yeah, he really needs to understand that life is not fair.
Why are there so many responses about ......?

Well, I quoted you $100/hour but I can probably get the job done in about 20 minutes.LOL!!! Your welcome XDD!!! If i had the money, i'd pay ya haha!
I am a landlord, and there is not any smoking allowed in any of my properties.
It's a no-brainer, as smoke causes damage that costs a lot of money to deal with.
But living in California, I can't even believe there is something to discuss here.
I grew up knowing that smoking in your house was a horrible thing to do.
Again, it's a freaking no-brainer.
But yeah, your roommate is a ..........
And if this doesn't make him start vaping, then he is an even bigger ..........
But do NOT tell him to take it to the landlord.
That is a great way to get vaping included in the lease agreement.
As a landlord myself, it is always nice to avoid hassles.
But as a vaper, I would never tolerate this ......... and his issues.
Again, maybe you should just hire me, and I'll get it taken care of.

And I would of course prorate that, especially for a fellow vaper.
Unfortunately, it's the expenses that would add up.
Like plane tickets.
And of course the fact that I would have to eat dinner here...

They don't even list prices on their online menu, so yeah.
Sorry, was doing some editing, and pushed the wrong button.
I think that is very considerate of you considering how crappy he is being about the situation@ 440BB & EleanorR
Knowing him he'd do it to. I am keeping my vaping now to my room, outside, & while he's not here. Until maybe i can warm up the idea of him trying to vape. Idk we'll see what happens.
Yay! It looks like it is starting to work out! It sucks you have to go through all of this though...,, just to get him to accept the real fact that he did not get what he wanted. I hope it continues to get better! Maybe he will start vaping with youThis is all great advice! Last night we all sat down and talked. He's kind of easing up on it now. He's not 100%. As a dual user myself, I don't get why the roommate wouldn't take advantage of the vape indoors all you want and smoke outside (as is the norm everywhere) when one wants to smoke.
As one who isn't an ex-smoker and can relate to society's stupidity toward smokers, I'd really be interested in talking with someone like this to see why they wouldn't vape part time.
