This is a lot of work, money, and fortitude-burning pre-meditation ~ and that's just to avoid Panic! I still am waiting for the day when I go off and forget it, but that hasn't happened yet. I have 2 e-cigs in my purse, in a cigarette case, and what's left of the last pack of cigarettes I bought. Every time I put something new in, liquid refills, etc., I would take out a cigarette and throw it away to make more room, can you even imagine throwing out a cigarette????

one more annoying thing-- there are like no actual stores to go buy stuff so I have to wait on spare parts and hope mine don't crap out before they get here... won't be a biggie once I stock up ... I'm slowly working on it. Getting juice in your mouth sucks, that's super annoying. OH and the fact that if I wipe off my mouthpiece on my shirt that has juice on it, it like bleaches it . grr.

What I find annoying is this thread that has been started.

We've all been there - done that and it just keeps getting repeated.

I see some have tried to lighten the tone with humor while some puts a major damper on what we ALL experience with e-cigs.

This thread fails to recognize that there are actually very new or potential e-smokers here browsing this forum.

Sure it's ok for them to know what's up, but give em a break for pete's sake!

If I were a newbie coming in to the forum and saw this thread I'd head right out the back door and go back to my analogs!!

I think the most annoying thing, especially for new people, is the confusing model numbers. It's one thing to say there are penstyles, minis and superminis; but when you use RN, DSE, M, etc, it gets confusing. I realize vendors have the right to repackage their products, but it would be helpful if the model number were printed on the ecig (maybe laser-etched like the batch numbers of batteries inside the batt-atty connecting threads.
For one thing, it would make ordering replacement parts easier and result in fewer returns because of parts not fitting.

Most annoying is trying to descide which flavors am I going to vap that day. I usually end up throwing 4 or 5 different ones into the smaller Vaultz pencil case that I carry around in my backpack. Probably have 10 e-cigs with me at any given time. LOL

The funniest thing is my favorite bathroom e-cig. It is the Janty Minifogger(306). It's very small, light with autobattery, so I can hold it in my mouth handsfree vaping while goin. LOL :p

I'm so glad someone else said it first! So many choices, so little time! I just checked my case, and I have six different little bottles of juice in there.
Pretty high-class problem, though...I can live with it.

I disagree. I think that its a good thread since a newcomer can see what theyre going into. And its not just all roses, but having said that - then we are all still here, and we are here for a reason; We choose vaping, cause its that good.

As a new user id wish i seen a thread as this, merely to see that even though people have these problems, then they still continue, and that to me - means its working.

My ideal business: combination coffee and vape shop, decorated in a motorcycle motif, possibly selling a line of scooters on the side.

That would be their decision. You might as well know the problems ahead. Sooner or later those issues will happen to all of us.

i can understand that. probably wont happen, but I propose everyone go back, edit their intial post and put the most annoying things about analogs.

such as coughing, phlegm, COST, smell, chance of getting cancer, inability to run, having to go outside everytime to smoke, tar and every single one of the 4000 chemicals in analogs.

I really don't mind the topping off (although I suppose I'll get tired of it in time). If I'm out at a bar and I start to notice someone looking at me suspiciously, as though he/she thinks I might be smoking, pulling the tip off my e-cig and refilling it makes them realize something else weird is going on.

My INITIAL annoyance was my decision to by an e-cig without finding this place first, so that I wouldn't have wasted the money on the first crappy kit I purchased. After a frustrating first week (and still smoking analogs in the mean time), I decided the whole e-cig phenomenon was just a gimmick. Then I found this forum and the reviews on youtube and I persevered, purchasing an 801 and, somewhat recently, a 510. Nevertheless, I can't help but wonder how many people started off with a crappy first purchase and gave up on e-cigs entirely.

My first few days of newbie-hood (weeks before I got my hands on my first PV), found me a bit over-whelmed with the sheer mass of the information available on this forum. However, I was thrilled to have "discovered" the fine art of vaping, and practically camped out by the mail box awaiting my deliveries. I spent many hours reading on the forum, and sure, I saw gripes, complaints, and problems; yet I saw other members posting support and solutions. All in all, I knew that if vaping presented any challenges, I wanted to be well-armed to meet them. I was and still am motivated in the extreme to kick the analog habit, and I believe that vaping is a brilliant idea and alternative to smoking tobacco.

I think that if the fine art of vaping was presented on ECF as being 100% butterflies and roses (as it is on several manufacturer's sites), and my first PV hadn't worked well in the first five minutes, I would have been crushed.

INFORMATION IS POWER!

I find the most annoying part to be..... me.I will drive to work (about half an hour away) and realize I took the equipment but not the juice, or drive from work and realize I forgot the SD, it just goes on. I have to go back for what I forgot. I have chargers everywhere so I have that covered, but I cannot quite relax. When I had tobacco, if I forgot cigs or lighter I could always just go down the street.
