Thank you. Technonut is a valuable resource of this site.

His guidance has helped me a great deal in my vaping journey.

I tend to listen to all the veterans as I am still a noob in a way. 6 months in to all this. I need to know all I can learn.
Now about music choices...lol

anyone know if Provari is coming out with a new/upgraded unit anytime soon?
Would like to see a digital display (2 digits seems antiquated to me)on it like other mods and see them do away with the 15 button pushes to turn it off, 13 pushes to check the atomizer, 11 to check the battery etc. seems like this would do some wear and tear action on the button & switch.
No one knows. And chances are, whatever upgrades we see won't include a digital display (unless they suddenly became more durable in the last four years) or multiple buttons. The button and switch are rated for 5 million presses. You really think you're going to reach that number in one lifetime?

this is an argument that shows a true provari fan boy. There are mil spec dot matrix led screens that are just as durable as the mil spec segmented screen in the provari. I get the argument against going OLED, but there is absolutely no reason not to go dot matrix led

IT IS THE SAME EXACT TECHNOLOGY WITH DIFFERENT SHAPED PIXELS.

And that dinosaur needs to go

I just got tired of buying Egos and having them die after 3-6 months, and constantly replacing stuff and having stuff break,,,,,

is it the best mod in the world? I don't know, I haven't tried all the mods in the world,,,,,,

there are some mods that are far MORE expensive,,,,,

there are some mods that are more expensive for Americans (because they are made in Europe) but make MORE sense for Europeans to buy,,,,,

I don't think I'm better than anyone, it's not a status symbol,,,,,,,,,,I just want something that DOESN'T BREAK. (at least not as often as other stuff I've had)

I gotta agree with that. Dot Matrix LED would be nice.....

I agree Dot Matrix would be nice. I DO NOT agree that Plan is a "Fan Boy" for his position. Why does he have to be attacked for liking the original display, even if he is wrong?

Can't we do better than that when we discuss an issue?

Very true. If dot matrix added $50 to the price, then I have no interest. the 3 digit display for the MVP doesn't come under fire too much. There's something to be said for big and readable.

After all, I'm not browsing the internet with my device.

For me, dot matrix would be a nice to have, but not required. I'd much like a higher amp limit and ....wait for it.....

Variable Wattage............

Okay...Let me have it.....

I disagree with the VW, but I am not gonna call you names over it or get angry with you. We are just talking here, right?

I want more power, a greater ohm range, a flat top. These are my priority issues.

I like improved display if it is cost effective, so for ten dollars more, sure. I would similarly oppose the inclusion of VW if it is a significant cost addition, because I don't use it.

I hear Ya but ratings (like on the button switch) and reality are two different things ;-D

I would handily buy one today if it were upgraded but as it sits (V2.5) I'll wait to see what Provape does to improve the asthetics and control / function features of this mod.

Also, Provape really needs to throw in the 18650 adapter for free with the unit.... Paying $20 for a 50 cent piece of machined aluminum is way beyond gouging the H**l out of the consumer

I seriously doubt the single button interface will be eliminated.. It would not allow for existing units to be upgraded. Perhaps a DNA 30 device would be more to your liking.. :)

Why yes, you are exactly right. Sorry. I should have caught that. What was I thinking!?

The button is rated for a MINIMUM of 5 million presses. It will likely continue to function even after that number is reached.

Are you happy now?

I love the one button thing,,,,,

the two button thing I had before was too confusing

you'd never know I graduated college with highest honors.

Doesn't surprise me. I knew a college graduate who could do Calculus in his head, but couldn't balance his checkbook to save his life.
