whats so great about provari?

I have no problem w/a single button device, my smok SID has one and it works great and w/fewer button pushes and a superior display and menu functionality than the provari but I prefer one of my Vamo v5's to that.

Be sure to come back a few months from now, and let us know how you like it.. Vamos have a less than stellar track record.. Both with QC, and their 33.3Hz electronics. Good entry level device for many folks though.. If it's keeping you off the smokes, it's all good.

I like a display that actually shows what's going on with the function rather than having to open a code book to decifer the function code... LOL!
speaking of codes 7 fault codes and 4 of them send it back to the shop or tech support (email and then most likely to the shop anyway) and 3 that tell the user what they could probably figure out on their own, seriously.

I would handily buy one today if it were upgraded but as it sits (V2.5) I'll wait to see what Provape does to improve the asthetics and control / function features of this mod.

Also, Provape really needs to throw in the 18650 adapter for free with the unit.... Paying $20 for a 50 cent piece of machined aluminum is way beyond gouging the H**l out of the consumer

After reading every bit of info Provape has ever put out on their product I would say its a good but heavily over priced mod for beginners and novice users or kids that don't know the value of a dollar. the only thing good the provari has going for it that its made in the USA

I guess its true that if you ask certain questions about the provari or comments about them the provariati come out of the woodwork. cheers to all!

ProVari - "MADE" in the USA



Several have asked if the ProVari is just “assembled” in the US or “made” in the US, so to address this questions here are some details:

The ProVape-1 and ProVari are actually MADE and ASSEMBLED in the USA.

Parts - Machined right here in Monroe, WA. We use US-made stainless steel bar stock to produce the tubes, top caps, bottom caps, contact pins, etc. Everything is done on our machines locally. No outsourcing.

Bare Circuit Boards - Manufactured in Illinois. We do not purchase the circuit boards from China due to their poor quality. While the circuit boards are more expensive to produce in the USA; this is the heart of the system and it’s important to us that they are the best quality we can get. Each PCB is electronically tested before it ever sees components.

Electronic Components on Circuit Board – these are the only parts that might come from outside of the USA. Some of these parts are simply not made in the US, so we can’t get them from a US source, even though we would prefer to.

We use components from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and the USA.


Component assembly - Components are soldered onto the circuit boards at a facility outside Seattle, Washington. After getting components installed, the boards are tested several more times at our Monroe facility to ensure they are ready to ship. We test each one multiple times to give you the most reliable product you can get.

We don't cut any corners when it comes to quality control, testing, and component selection.

You might be disappointed to hear this, but the brand, spanking new Margaritaville in Destin, FL told us that vaping is against company policy. The bartenders didn't say anything, but a passing waitress did and a manager confirmed it. We walked out in a huff (and a puff). I won't be going there again.

V3 is being developed and tested now. Define "a while". It will likely be offered to current owners at a substantial discount. The V 2.5 upgrade cost owners of previous versions $20. Provape takes care of it's customers.

Just a couple tidbits to add...
I'd buy another one, and don't care where stuff's made. I find my provari VAPES BETTER than my Vamo or my SVD.
It's noticeable.
I LIKE my other stuff, and it's in great shape - but the power delivery is faster and smoother with the 'vari.
I like the way it looks and feels, too.
I kinda like the button, don't mind the menu, though I could see it being improved, and all I need to see on my display is a couple digits.

I'll be 51 in April... I do know the value of a dollar, and the principal of false economy.. I also know the value of a product which I can send back for repairs / upgrades, and have it back to me usually within a week.. Priceless.

+1 on the false economy, I hear ya. BTW happy early B-Day young man, I'll be 54 in July.
Buying cheaper mods cause I can afford a new one every week if I wanted to but the quality of the ones I have no doubt it wont be necessary but we'll see.
