I would handily buy one today if it were upgraded but as it sits (V2.5) I'll wait to see what Provape does to improve the asthetics and control / function features of this mod.

Also, Provape really needs to throw in the 18650 adapter for free with the unit.... Paying $20 for a 50 cent piece of machined aluminum is way beyond gouging the H**l out of the consumer

50 cent piece of aluminum? Perhaps a review of http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html is in order.

But if you can produce a more reasonably priced SS end cap, you could give Tatroe a run for the money.

May as well go ahead and post this review... BTW: PBusardo recently stated that out of the multitude of mods he reviewed and used, if all of his vape-gear were stolen, what would he purchase with his own $$... A ProVari and Kayfun.. ;) Phil always has his ProVari with him..

I'll be 51 in April... ;) I do know the value of a dollar, and the principal of false economy.. ;) I also know the value of a product which I can send back for repairs / upgrades, and have it back to me usually within a week.. Priceless. :)

Here's how I see it....now....

A ProVari costs me less than a day of work. I'm lucky...I'm not pushing 6 figures, but I'm not flipping burgers either.

If someone asked...."Hey, can you help me with (moving, painting, yardwork, take your choice) and when we're done for the day, I'll give you a brand new ProVari, would I take it?

Hell Yeah....."

Costs less than the $255.00 a month I spent on tobacco too.... ;)

I own multiple devices.. I like my Hana v3 DNA 30 (the v2 before that), as well as my mechs and ProVari's.. :)

Ok, I'm reading both the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html thread and on ProVape's site and I'm not finding any reference to aluminum. And, that includes the extension cap. Did you read that thread or just its title? They don't make a hollow tube extension, but Tatroe does and it is SS as well. Not sure if they're gouging the price, but I AM sure that nobody outside of China would profit by selling it for 50 cents.

Yup! 50 cent piece of machined aluminum... (USA or not) perhaps you didn't read it right. I'm talking about the 18650 extension (hollow) tube that the gouge $20 bux for... never said anything about an end cap...

The extension cap isn't aluminum it is stainless steel, nothing on the Provari is aluminum.

Of course you would have known that if you ever saw/held one or spent 3 minutes on their site.

You must have missed it > Optional: 18650 battery extension available. Add a longer battery to your ProVari Mini for extended run times. $19.95
When purchasing this option you will still get the original end cap so you can also use the 18490 battery. (ProVari Hybrid Black/Red Electronic Cigarette)

It shows the same option to the 18650 for the regular Provari
Unit is made from Stainless steel

Yes, it is an extension cap. As it also says quite clearly when clicking the link to the extension cap linked from that very page, ProVari Extended End Cap for Hybrid

The ProVari and ProVari Mini extension cap replaces the stock end cap and allows you to use a longer battery.

This will extend the length of the device and offer you longer run times between charging.

1/2" Length
Stainless Steel with a Cherry Red finish to match the Hybrid models. This is compatible with the ProVari and the ProVari Mini.

(Emphasis mine)

I guess the hard questions for the provariati are in the facts of the flaws of its idol

Please show me where ProVape is selling anything aluminum?

I was quite the ProVari agnostic. I was happy with my 2 MVP's and my Sigelei Zmax v3.

I went to a vape convention and spent some quality time with a ProVari and took it home with me. I am WELL aware of the flaws of the unit and took it home despite that fact.

Why?

It's strengths outweighed the flaws. It is a hell of a solidly built piece of equipment. It vapes and vapes very well. And it feels nice in my hands. I bought it with the extension cap. I love it for home use.

The reason we don't address questions like yours is that we've addressed them countless times before.

And my answer is the same....as Pbusardo's...."Well, I have one....I have held one...I have used one...and alls I can say is...Now I get it."

If you haven't held one or used one, then no one expects you to understand.

BTW....In all the reviews he's done since the ProVari, there has not be ONE review he's done that says "It's better than a ProVari"

When he was in Tampa, even though he was sporting a ZNA (Zen was at the vape convention)... He still had his ProVari.....On him.

And he and Dimitris did say on a recent video, that if someone robbed all of his vape gear, then the device he would spend his OWN money to replace was a Kayfun and ProVari....

Not bad for such a flawed device.

hey - I have been vaping 4 years and owned several mods... high end, low-end etc...

I've bought more expensive mods than provaris and less expensive...

the provari is a terrific device... worth the money as far as I am concerned... performs great - fit and finish are excellent... if you can afford the extra cost, it's worth it...

I got mine 30+ days ago!

got the stainless steel... blue led... the extension cap... 2 of each battery, the pila charger and a nice steampunk skin...

the whole thing ran me around $300 and it was money well spent.

happy birthday to me...
